Within Christianity, there exists a theological belief that promotes the misconception of an “Immortal Soul.” However, let’s examine what scripture actually says.
From the beginning, it becomes evident.
Genesis 1:26; states that the physical creation of humanity, a gift of life, is fragile and interdependent. It was ordained for a purpose of forming a family, spiritually united to the Eternal Father and Son.

Genesis 2:7; 9; 16; 17; 3:17; 19; 21; 22; 23; Emphasizing this point. The first humans, Adam and Eve, received a warning from Yehwah Elohe. They were told that eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil would bring death and that their temporary physical existence would return to the dust from which they were made. So, why would Adam and Eve choose to eat from the tree of evil, knowing it would lead to their death?

Genesis 3:1; 2; 3; Exposing the Deception. Satan, the Adversary, actively promoted the belief in an “Immortal Soul.” Satan deceived Eve by claiming that she could eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil without dying.

Adam and Eve, despite the consequences of their sin and the apparent loss of Paradise, did not immediately die. Even though the “Tree of Life” seemed out of their reach, they were promised a mysterious “Savior Seed”.

Christianity’s belief in the “Immortal Soul”. Speculates that the soul of a physically dead person, mysteriously transitions to a ghostly spirit existence. The ghostly soul, is assume to ascend into heaven if they believe, Christ paid their sin debt. This resurrection, of the ghostly soul, is made possible by Christ dying in the place of sinners, as a substitution “ScapeGoat” sacrifice.
In contrast, the “Immortal Soul”, of an unbelieving person, Will descend into Hell in eternal torment, when they die.
The “Immortal Soul” is a mythological fabrication, a product of human imagination. Religions incorporate cultural mythology to manipulate people, portraying themselves as possessing enigmatic authority and having the power to determine the course of a person’s existence after their demise.

Bible translators interpret the original Hebrew and Greek texts within the Scriptures, guided by their theological beliefs. Therefore, it’s reasonable to pose a question: is the Biblical message of salvation based on the injustice of executing the innocent Savior, Messiah Yeshua? Does Messiah’s death pay for mankind’s sin debt as a substitution “scapegoat”? Furthermore, does Messiah’s death imply that the Heavenly Father rejected Yeshua when He was dying on the cross, subjecting Him to the “Second Death”?

The UnJust crucifixion, of Messiah, is intended to convict mankind of their sinful lawlessness, and rebellion against Yehwah Elohe’s Covenant Commandments. The Heavenly Father, resurrected His Holy and Righteous sinless Son, Yeshua. Proving, Yeshua, is both Messiah, and Yehwah Elohe, the Lord God Almighty. Messiah’s Death, did not pay anyone’s sin Debt, and He did not become a “ScapeGoat” substitution sacrifice. All of mankind, are required to repent, and turn away from sinful lawlessness, to be Saved from sinfulness, that leads to death.

So then, Isaiah 53:9; 12; only predicted Messiah tasting a temporary physical death. And He was resurrected, to eternal life, on the third day. Even Messiah’s sinless body was not allowed to suffer decay. Messiah did not become anyone’s sins. He did not pay, anyone’s eternal sin debt. Messiah did not become, a pagan scapegoat substitution sacrifice, that is taught by most of Christianity.

Physical Soul, or Spiritual Breath

Sin, brings Suffering and Death
The Physical “Soul” Dies. Ending the temporary, mortal human existence. But, EL elyon the Father, retains Spiritual knowledge, of each person’s life. And the Father, is able to raise, a deceased person, from the dead. This is called, the “First Death”, or “Sleep in the Dust”.

Discipline, produces the Peaceful Fruit of Righteousness

So then, Faithful Obedience, to Covenant Law, is required, to be Saved from Sin and Eternal Death. And the gift of the Holy Spirit, begins purging and cleansing sinfulness, from Baptized disciples. Disciples learn discipline, so that they may be trained by the Spirit, in the Peaceful Fruits of Righteousness, become Perfected in Holiness, and worthy to receive Eternal Life, in the First Resurrection.
