John a Messenger

Luke 1:76–79 (NASB95) — 76 “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the (Most High = EL elyon the Father ) ; For you will go on before the (Lord = Yehwah Elohe)  to prepare His ways; 77 To give to His people the knowledge of salvation By the forgiveness of their sins, 78 Because of the tender mercy of our (God =EL elyon the Father ), With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us, 79 To shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

[John was a prophet, sent by EL elyon the Father , to announce the arrival of Yehwah Elohe, the only Savior.]

Prepare the Way before EliYeh

Luke 3:2–6 (NASB95) — 2 in the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of (God = EL elyon) came to John, the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness. 3 And he came into all the district around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins; 4 as it is written in the book of the words of )Isaiah 40:3;) the prophet, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the (Lord = Yehwah) , Make His paths straight. 5 ‘Every ravine will be filled, And every mountain and hill will be brought low; The crooked will become straight, And the rough roads smooth; 6 And all flesh will see the salvation of (God = Elohe) .’ ”

The Savior: Elohe

Isaiah 40:3 (NASB95) — 3 A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the (Lord = Yehwah= יהוה )  in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our (God = Elohe = אלֹהֵי ) .

[John quotes, Isaiah 40:3; a voice crying out, prepare the Way of Yehwah Elohe. Elohe is the Eternal One, Who established His Covenant with Israel at Mount Horeb in the Sinai wilderness. EliYeh is an abbreviation of the title: Yehwah Elohe.]

John is not EliYeh

John 1:19–34 (NASB95) — 19 This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” 20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the (Christ = Messiah).” 21 They asked him, “What then? Are you (EliYeh = אֵלִיָּה )?” And he said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 22 Then they said to him, “Who are you, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?” 23 He said, “I am a voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the (Lord = Yehwah),’ as Isaiah the prophet said.” 24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees. 25 They asked him, and said to him, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the (Christ = Messiah), nor (EliYeh = אֵלִיָּה ), nor the Prophet?” 26 John answered them saying, “I baptize in water, but among you stands One whom you do not know. 27 “It is (He = EliYeh Messiah Yeshua ) who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.” 28 These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day he saw (Jesus = Yeshua ) coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of (God = EL elyon the Father  ) who takes away the sin of the world! 30 “This is He on behalf of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’ 31 “I did not recognize Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water.” 32 John testified saying, “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon )Him = Messiah). 33 “I did not recognize (Him = Messiah), but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon (Him = Messiah), this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’ 34 “I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of (God = Yehwah EL elyon the Most High Father ) .”

[[The Pharisees and religious leaders question John. John states that he is not, the Messiah, EliYeh, or the Prophet. But, John testifies, that he came as a witness to announce the arrival of EliYeh the Messiah. When John baptized Yeshua, then the Spirit of EL elyon the Father , revealed Messiah the EliYeh.]

EliYeh Suffering Rejection

John 1:1–18 (NASB95) — 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with (God = EL elyon the Most High Father), and the Word was (God = Yehwah Elohe ) . 2 He was in the beginning with (God = EL elyon ). 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 6 There came a man sent from (God =  EL elyon ), whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through (Him = Messiah). 8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. 9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through (Him = Messiah), and the world did not know (Him = Messiah). 11 (He = Messiah) came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive (Him = Messiah). 12 But as many as received (Him = Messiah Yeshua  ), to them He gave the right to become children of (God = Eloheyem ) , even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of (God = Eloheyem ) . 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John testified about (Him = Messiah) and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’ ” 16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. 17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through (Jesus Christ = Messiah Yeshua ) . 18 No one has seen God = EL elyon the Most High Father )  at any time; the only begotten (God = Yehwah Elohe = Messiah Yeshua  ) who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

[John’s prophetic Ministry follows the pattern of the old testament prophet EliYeh-wu. John was inspired by the Spirit of EL elyon the Father, to announce the arrival of Messiah the Eternal EliYeh. Who is the only Savior and incarnate Son of the Most High.

Yeshua the Promised EliYeh

Luke 4:16–25 (NASB95) — 16 And (He = Messiah Yeshua  ) came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read. 17 And the book of the prophet (Isaiah 61:1; 2;) was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written, 18 “The Spirit of the (Lord =  Yehwah ) is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, 19 To proclaim the (favorable = Jubilee in Leviticus 25:7; 8; 9; 10;) year of the (Lord =  Yehwah ).” 20 And He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on Him. 21 And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” 22 And all were speaking well of Him, and wondering at the gracious words which were falling from His lips; and they were saying, “Is this not Joseph’s son?” 23 And He said to them, “No doubt you will quote this proverb to Me, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we heard was done at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.’ ” 24 And He said, “Truly I say to you, no prophet is welcome in his hometown. 25 “But I say to you in truth, there were many widows in Israel in the days of (EliYeh-wu = אֵלִיָּהוּ ), when the sky was shut up for three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land;

[Luke 4:16-25; On the Day of Atonement 26 A.D. Messiah announced the Jubilee year, at the appointed time designated within the law in Leviticus 25:7; 8; 9; 10;… Yeshua stated that no Prophet is excepted in His hometown. Messiah Yeshua began His 3 1/2 year ministry by comparing Himself to EliYeh-wu.]

My Messenger "John" before "El-Yah = λίας"

Luke 7:27–28 (NASB95) — 27 “This is the one about whom it is written, ‘Behold, I send My messenger ahead of You, Who will prepare Your way before You.’ 28 “I say to you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

Luke 7:28; Yeshua, makes a statement, that none of the previous prophets, were greater than John? Messiah Yeshua, does "NOT" mean that John is greater, but only emphasizes, that each person has their assigned work, that is considered equally valuable.

John 13:16; Then messiah, adds that the "least or lowly" person, that is a worthy servant, Will be greatly valued, when Messiah restores the Kingdom of Yehwah Elohe on earth.

Transfiguration of Messiah Yeshua. The Prophet, (El-Yeh = λίας = Yehwah Elohe  )

Mark 9:1–6 (NASB95) — 1 And Yeshua was saying to them, “Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power.” 2 Six days later, Yeshua took with Him Peter and James and John, and brought them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them; 3 and His garments became radiant and exceedingly white, as no launderer on earth can whiten them. 4 (Elijah = El-Yeh = λίας ) appeared to them along with Moses; and they were talking with Yeshua. 5 Peter said to Yeshua, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three tabernacles, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for (Elijah = El-Yeh = λίας ).” 6 For he did not know what to answer; for they became terrified.

Luke 9:33 (NASB95) — 33 And as these were leaving Him, Peter said to Yeshua, “Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three tabernacles: one for You, and one for Moses, and one for (Elijah = (El-Yeh = λίας )”—not realizing what he was saying.

(Luke 9:30; 31; 32; 33; Mt 17:3; 4; Mk 9:4; 5; John, James, and Peter; witness a vision of the future coming kingdom and Messiah Yeshua's, Glorified transfiguration. Each narrative, is "NOT" an eyewitness account, and only records the mis-use of the title: (El-Yeh = λίας  = Yehwah Elohe Mal 4:5; Messiah Yeshua). The disciples are assuming, the old testament prophet (EliYeh-wu = אֵלִיָּהוּ ), is also the promised Malachi 4:5; (El-Yeh = λίας ).

Luke9:33; reveals that Peter did not understand what he was saying!!!

So that is why the disciples continue to question, Messiah Yeshua, wondering who is the...

Malachi 4:5; (El-Yeh = λίας )?]

EliYeh comes First?

Mark 9:11–13 (NASB95) — 11 They asked Him, saying, “Why is it that the scribes say that (EliYeh = λίαν ) must come first?” 12 And He said to them, “(EliYeh = λίας ) does first come and restore all things. And yet how is it written of the Son of Man that He will suffer many things and be treated with contempt? 13 “But I say to you that (EliYeh = λίας ) has indeed come, and they did to him whatever they wished, just as it is written of him.”

Mark 9:11–13 (NA27 Int.)

[In Mark 9:11; 12; 13; Matthew 17:10; 11; 12; 13; Yeshua associates His suffering and rejection with that of the promised EliYeh in Malachi 4:5;… Their hearts were not returning to the only Savior Yehwah Elohe. Only after Yeshua’s death and resurrection, would He be recognized as the (EliYeh = Yehwah Elohe ).]

Matthew 17:10–13 (corrected text) — 10 And His disciples asked Him, “Why then do the scribes say that EliYeh must come first?” 11 And He answered and said, “EliYeh is coming and will restore all things; 12 but I say to you that EliYeh already came, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wished. So also the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.” 13 at that time, reasoned the disciples, by observations about, John the Baptist, speaking (among) themselves.

Matthew 17:13 (NA27 Int.) — 13 τότε συνκαν ο μαθητα τι περ ωάννου το βαπτιστο επεν ατος.

Matthew 17:13 (NA27 Int.) — 13

1. τότε = at that time

2. συνκαν = to think, to perceive, reason, or comprehend

3. ο = the

4. μαθητα = disciples

5. τι = because, since, or by observations

6. περ = about, surrounding, or concerning

10. επεν = spoken or speaking

11. ατος. = themselves.

[In Mark 9:11; 12; 13; and Matthew 17:10; 11; 12; 13; the disciples question Yeshua. Why is it written in Malachi 4:5; that EliYeh arrives before the Great day of the (Lord = Yehwah). Yeshua states that, EliYeh does come first and (will = future tense) Restore all things. At that time, the disciples reason about observing John, as they spoke among themselves. The disciples did not understand that Messiah Yeshua was referring to Himself as the promised suffering EliYeh.]

EliYeh the Spiritual Baptizer

Acts 1:1–6 (NASB95) — 1 The first account I composed, Theophilus, about all that (Jesus = Yeshua  ) began to do and teach, 2 until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen. 3 To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God. 4 Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “(Lord = Yehwah Elohe - Messiah Yeshua  - EliYeh ), is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
