Growing Pains
Hebrews 12:6 NASB;

1 Pe 2:23; Revealing Spiritual insight into the prophetic suffering of the Messiah and the True message of Salvation.

To introduce this Bible study, it is important to establish several principles for examining Scripture that will verify the correct understanding of Yehawah's unchanging Words of Truth.

1. (Rev 1:1; 4; 5; 12; 13; 14-15; 16; 17-18; 22: 1-2; 3-4; 5; 6; 7; 13-14; Mal 3:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 16; 17; 18; 4:4-5; 6; Isa 8:13; 16; 17; 18; 19; 20; 40:8; 55:11; 59:21; Mt 5:18; Heb 1:12; 13:8; 1 Pe 1:23; 24; 25; ) Yehawah Eloheyem the Father and Son, state: They do not change. So then, Yehawah's Words of Truth do not change and Scripture must be in agreement from the beginning to the end.

2. (Mt 5:17; 18; 19; 20; Lk 10:25-26; 27-28; 18:18-19; 20; Jn 15:8-9; 10; 17:3; 17-19; 20-21; 22-23; Ro 2:4-5; 6-7; 8-9; 10-11; 12-13; 6:19; 20-21; 22;) Messiah Yeshua Faithfully Obeyed His Heavenly Father's Commandments and  said that He did not abolish or change the law or the prophets. Messiah Yeshua taught from the law and revealed the Spiritual TRUTH that is discerned through Obedience to the Father's Commandments. Anyone that teaches disobedience to Yehawah's commandments and laws is not a prophet of Yehawah Eloheyem and does not speak the Spiritual Holy Words of Truth.

3. (2 Pe 1:19; 20; 2 Ti 3:15-16; 1 Pe 1:10; 11; 12; ) Carefully reading the context of chapter and paragraph is necessary to correctly understand a Bible verse. Comparing all associated and relevant Scriptures will help  verify the mean of the text in question. Human interpretation of Scripture is often misled by Satan's deceptive spirit of lawlessness. Only, Yehawah the Father, who is the Spirit of Holiness will lead a person's heart and mind into all Truth.

Scripture to promote doctrinal distortions that corrupt the uniformity of Yehawah's Words of Truth by promoting lawlessness. If, Bible translations contain text that appeared to contradict or oppose Yehawah's commandments and laws, then prayerfully listen for the Heavenly Father's guidance and examine the Bible verses in the original languages to correct doctrinal errors. 
(2 Pe 2:1; 2; 3-4; 5; 6; 7-8; 9; 10; 13; 14-15; 18; 19; 20; 21; 22; 3:2-3; 7; 9; 15; 16; 17; 18; 2 Thes 2:2; 3; 4-5; 6-7; 8; 9; 10; 11-12; ) The original apostles warned about the deceptive apostasy that is called the antichrist that has corrupted the True, "Good News" of Yehawah Eloheyem's promised Kingdom restoration and Salvation in Yeshua. Sadly, most of mankind are disobedient to the Heavenly Father's commandments and are not led by His Spirit of Holiness that is in Messiah Yeshua.

Growing Pains, In the Beginning
(Ge 1:26; 2:7; 9; 16-17; 3:1-2; 3-4; 5; 6; 7; 14; 15; 16-17; 18; 19; 21; 22; ) The Heavenly Father and Son formed Adam and Eve within a physical reality that is governed by spiritual law. Yahweh Elohim the Father and Son offered the, "Tree of Life" to Adam and Eve as food to grow spiritually and become His Eternal children in Yehawah Eloheyem’s family. Adam and Eve were also warned that there is a dangerous, " Knowledge of Good versus Evil" that will cause sin and death. The source of sin and lawlessness comes from Satan the devil the lying Adversary and spiritual deceiver. Adam and Eve experienced growing pains as they learn the consequences of being misled by Evil Satanic deception. The Heavenly Father desired that His children would Love Him and listen to His Words of Truth that give Eternal Life. All of mankind are descendants of Adam and Eve, and face the same, "Growing Pains" as they learn to resist Satan's spiritual temptation that promotes lawlessness.

The Father's Laws of Love and Israel's Growing Pains
Exodus 20:1–20 (NASB95) — 1 Then Elohe spoke all these words, saying, 2 “I am Yehawah Elohe, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 3 “You shall have no other Elohe before Me. 4 “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 5 “You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, Yehawah Elohe, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. 7 “You shall not take the name of Yehawah Elohe in vain, for Yehawah will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. 8 “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 “Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath of Yehawah Elohe; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. 11 “For in six days Yehawah made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore Yehawah blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. 12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which Yehawah Elohe gives you. 13 “You shall not murder. 14 “You shall not commit adultery. 15 “You shall not steal. 16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” 18 All the people perceived the thunder and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance. 19 Then they said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not Elohe speak to us, or we will die.” 20 Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid; for Elohe has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may remain with you, so that you may not sin.”
[It is important to notice that, Yehawah Eloheyem Loves those who love Him and keep His Commandments. The fourth commandment is keep Holy the seventh day Sabbath, that was established in the beginning of Genesis. 
(Ex 31:13; Eze 20:20;) The seventh day Sabbath is one of the signs that identify Yehawah's Covenant people.
(Mk 10:17; 18; 19;) Also, honoring your father and mother as a command that receives a blessing. 
(Mt 11:27; 28; 29-30; Jn 6:44-45; 48; 62-63; 15:9; 10; 17:3; 17-19; 20; 21; 22-23;) Messiah Yeshua repeats the importance of keeping Yahweh’s Commandments that lead to Eternal Life. Obeying Yehawah Eloheyems Commandments is Love for the Father and all of mankind.]

The Father and Son Mercifully desire to restore the children of Adam to Faithfulness and Obedience. 
Exodus 34:6–7 (NASB95) — 6 Then Yehawah passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “Yehawah, Yehawah Elohe, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; 7 who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.” 
[Yehawah Eloheyem the Father and Son Mercifully Forgive anyone that truly repents by turning away from sinful lawlessness.
(Eze 18:19; 20; 21; 22; 23; 24; 25; 26; 27; 28; 29; 30; 31; 32; 1 Jn 1: 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 2:3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 3:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; Acts 3:38;) Yehawah's Salvation begins with, "Repentance, Baptism, and the gift of the Spirit of Holiness." Everyone that repents by turning away from sin will experience, "Growing Pains" as they resists Satan's temptation and learn Obedience to the Heavenly Father's Commandments by listening to His Spirit of Truth. Just as, Messiah Yeshua became a living example of a Faithfully Obedient Son.
(Jn 5:19; 12:49; 50;  Heb 1:1-2; 3; 8; 9; ) Messiah Yeshua lives in perfect Obedience and reveals His Spiritual Oneness with the Father by speaking and acting as an exact reflection of the Father's Loving authority that lives within Him. ]

Messiah Yeshua's Growing Pains
Luke 2:21–24 (NASB95) — 21 And when eight days had passed, before His circumcision, His name was then called Yeshua, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb. 22 And when the days for their purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to Yehawah 23 (as it is written in the Law of Yehawah, “Every firstborn male that opens the womb shall be called holy to Yehawah”), 24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Law of Yehawah, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
[ Circumcision and Redeeming the First Born our symbolic, "Works" that identify a person that is, "Under the Law" of Yehawah's Covenant with Israel.
(Ga 3:2; 4:4; 5; 6;)  Yeshua's parents performed the required symbolic, "Works of the Law" of "Circumcision and Animal Sacrifice" to Redeem there firstborn son. Messiah Yeshua's Spirit of Holy Oneness with the Father would become the Spiritual Redemption that is poured out to repentant disciples so that they may enter into Yehawah's Covenant and cry, "Abba Father." 


(Heb 10:1; 2; 3; 4; 7; 8; 9; 15; 16; 17; ) The Spirit of Holiness leads disciples into Obedience by writing Yehawah's laws within the heart and mind of Faithful worshipers and replaces the symbolic, "Works of the Law" that could not remove sin. ]

Growing in Wisdom
Luke 2:40–41 (NASB95) — 40 The Child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the (approval) of Eloheyem the Father was upon Him. 41 Now His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover.
[(Jn 1:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; Psa 22:9; 10; Php 2:4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; 15; 16; ) Messiah Yeshua existed Eternally with the Heavenly Father and entered into the physical creation by becoming human through the Embryonic conception within a virgin. Yeshua learn to trust His Father by Obediently listening to His Father's Spirit of Holiness speaking Eternal Truth into His heart and mind.
(Mt 4:4; 10; Heb 2:17; 18; 3:6; 7; 4:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; 15; 16; 5:5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; ) Wisdom is proven to be True by Living by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of Yehawah. The beginning of Knowledge and Wisdom is to fear Yehawah by keeping His Commandments. Yehawah the Father teaches Truth that will lead a person to reject Satan's Evil temptation that promotes sinful lawlessness.]

Honor your Father and Mother
Luke 2:45–52 (NASB95) — 45 When they did not find Yeshua with them, they returned to Jerusalem looking for Him. 46 Then, after three days they found Yeshua in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were amazed at His understanding and His answers. 48 When they saw Him, they were astonished; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You treated us this way? Behold, Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You.” 49 And Yeshua said to them, “Why is it that you were looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?” 50 But they did not understand the statement which He had made to them. 51 And Yeshua went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued in subjection to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart. 52 And Yeshua kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with Yehawah Eloheyem and men. 
[Yeshua honored His mother Mary and stepfather Joseph by obeying His Heavenly Father's Commandments and Lovingly obeyed His earthly parents. Wisdom grows through daily application of Spiritual knowledge and develops moral righteous character in a person. ]

Growing a Heart of Love
Proverbs 3:1–8 (NASB95) — 1 My son, do not forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my commandments; 2 For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you. 3 Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of Eloheyem and man. 5 Trust in Yehawah with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear Yehawah and turn away from evil. 8 It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones.
[(Mk 12:28; 29; 30; 31; 32; 33; 34; ) Messiah Yeshua demonstrates His Love for His Heavenly father by Obeying the Commandments. The goal of Faithful Obedience is a Pure Heart that Loves Righteousness and Abides in Oneness of Spirit with the Heavenly Father. The Father reveals His Spirit of Holiness to disciples so that they may become like His Son. Participating in the divine nature is the transformation of regeneration that leads to New Birth as Yehawah Eloheyem's children.]

Growing a Fruitful Life
John 15:8–10 (NASB95) — 8 “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. 9 “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. 10 “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
[(1 Cor 11:23; 24; 25; 26; 27; 28; 29; 31; 32; Jn 6:45; 48; 55; 56; 62; 63; 8:28; 29; ) The Spirit of Holiness unites Messiah Yeshua's disciples in Yehawah the Father's Covenant of Love with the intent of producing Faithfulness and Obedience.
(Ga 5:14; 16; 17; 19; 20; 21; 22; 23; 24; 25; ) The divine nature of Elohim is expressed by, "Spiritual Fruit" and is evidence of Yahweh's approval of those who Love Him and keep His Commandments. Love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, kindness, self-control, are expressions of Yahweh's Spirit of Holiness uniting a disciples mind with the Father and Son. 
(Ro 12:21; 1 Cor 2:6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; 15; 16; ) The Wisdom of Yahweh the Father is the revealing of the mind of His Son to those who Love Him.]

Fulfilling the Law of Love through Growing Pains of Righteousness
Matthew 5:17–20 (NASB95) — 17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 “Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 “For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
[(Psa 40:4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; Isa 42:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 21; ) Messiah Yeshua did not change or annul His Heavenly Father's Commandments, but lives by every Word of Yehawah Eloheyem.
(Mk 7:5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; Mt 13:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 23; 24; 25; 26; 27; 28; ) the Pharisees and teachers of the law added human traditions that distorted Yehawah's Commandments and even taught disobedience to the Covenant Law. Many modern religious leaders pretend to be servants of Christ, but teach human traditions that originate in paganism, such as Christmas and Easter. Yahweh's 10 Covenant Commandments have been annulled by pharisaical Christianity in the seventh day Sabbath is replaced by the lie that promotes Sun-day deception.
(Jn 5:37; 38; 39; 40; 41; 42; 43; 44; 45; 46; 47; 12:43; Ga 1:10; 11; 12; 15-16; Acts 5:30; 31; 32; 10:34; 35; 36; 3:18; 19; 20; 21; 22; 23; 24; 25; 26; ) Many religious leaders teach humanly conceived doctrines to please people and promote sin and lawlessness through disobedience to Yehawah's Righteous and Holy Laws. But, the Heavenly Father shares His Spirit of Holiness that is in His Son with everyone that truly repents in turns away from sinful lawlessness by keeping Yehawah's Commandments.

(Acts 7:51; 52; 53; Deut 30:2; 6; 8; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; 16; 19; 20; ) most of mankind continues in disobedience, just as Israel and the teachers of the law refused to listen to Yehawah's Spirit of Holiness that offered His Covenant Words of Truth that would heal their uncircumcised hearts.] 

Growing Pains of Purification that removes Sinful Lawlessness
1 John 3:2–9 (NASB95) — 2 Beloved, now we are children of Eloheyem, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. 7 Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of Eloheyem the Father appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one who is conceived of Eloheyem's Spirit practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is conceived of Eloheyem the Father.

This Spiritual renewal regenerates a life that is similar to the conception of an embryo that continues growing to maturity.
(1 Cor 15:20; 21; 22; 23; 24; 25; 26; 27; 28; 34; 35; 36; 37; 38; 42; 43; 44; 45; 46; 47; 48; 49; 50; 51; 52; 53; 54; ) Disciples have hope of their future Spiritual birth in the resurrection; when they will enter into the Heavenly Father's Kingdom as Messiah Yeshua returns to govern the earth. The Spiritual Seed of Holiness transforms a person's heart and mind as they resists sin and grow in faithful obedience to become like Messiah Yeshua.]

Maturing the Fruit of Love
1 Corinthians 13:4–13 (NASB95) — 4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part; 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. 13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
[Spiritual Oneness in Yahweh Elohim's family is the revelation of True Love. Love does not rejoice in Evil, but love rejoices in Righteousness and Truth by keeping Yehawah's Commandments. Love for Yehawah produces patient endurance, hopeful dedication, faithful perseverance, and reflects the enduring Love of Messiah Yeshua that is growing in disciples that are being Saved. A childlike love for the Heavenly Father is intended to grow to maturity and become like the Eternal Son Messiah Yeshua.]

Suffering Growing Pains of Obedience
Hebrews 5:7–9 (NASB95) — 7 In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety. 8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,

The Eternal Yehawah Elohe the Son entered His physical creation and became a fleshly human. Yeshua overcame Evil spiritual influences by listening to His Father's Spirit of Holiness. Yeshua did not live to please mankind or join in any sinful disobedience to His Heavenly Father's Commandments. ]

Growing Humility by Walking in the Light
Psalm 119:75-77;  (NASB95) — 75 I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are righteous, And that in faithfulness You have (humbled =  עָנָה ) me. 76 O may Your lovingkindness comfort me, According to Your word to Your servant. 77 May Your compassion come to me that I may live, For Your law is my delight.

[Isa 53:1-2; Who has understood the strength of Yehwah's Seed. The Messiah is the planting of Yehawah’s Spiritual Life in the dry ground of human hearts. Yeshua was not attractive or popular and did not seek to please the socially accepted idols of his time. 

Isa 53:3; 4; Mt 8:16; 17; Messiah Yeshua was despised and rejected by the people that claim to know Yehwah, but did not know Him. Messiah Yeshua, mercifully reached out to heal the spiritual sickness of Israel and suffered sorrows because of there unrepentant sinfulness. The people even considered that the Messiah was being punished by Yehwah, because Yeshua, “bore = נָשָׂא  = lifted up" our sorrows and, "carried = סָבַל“ our grief.

Growing Pains caused by undisciplined sinners

True Maturity Teaches Discipline

[Paul establishes clear instruction for examining the level of spiritual maturity that must be in a person before they are appointed to a position of Elder or Deacon. It would be unwise to appoint an immature or undisciplined person to a position of a church leader. Youthful passions that claim devotion to serve Yehawah, may easily become misdirected by lack of knowledge, self-discipline, and immaturity with respect to the reality of, "Growing Pains".]

[Messiah Yeshua taught unchanging truth from the covenant law and portrayed His life as spiritual food that nourishes growth and leads to Eternal Life. The wisdom of Scripture is often neglected and even Yahweh's clean food laws are rejected. Most religious leaders promote ignorance and teach the unhealthy practice of eating unclean animals that are not good for food. Sinful lawlessness promotes spiritual and physical sickness and spreads disease that harms everyone. That is why, Yehawah says, "Be Holy, for I Am Holy."]
