Galatians GOOD NEWS

 The letter to Galatians: 

Paul expresses detailed opposition to the miss use of Symbolism within the Sacrificial "Works of the Law". Jewish oral traditions, have added fables and storytelling, to their interpretation, of the written Law. Pagan mythological beliefs and idolatrous religious practices often influence the Israelites. The nation of Israel, abandoned the True worship of Yehwah Elohe, and their understanding of "Covenant Law" became corrupted. The northern 10 tribes of Israel, were cast out from, the Promised Land. Later, Judah and Levi, also suffered the punishment of exile, because of their sinful rebellion against Yehwah's Covenant Law.

Scape Goat?


Mk 12:28; 29; 30; 31; 32; 33; Yehwah's Law of Love is better than Symbolic Sacrifices. )  

The majority of Yehwah Elohe's "Covenant" people, did not receive understanding from the Holy Spirit of Truth, and refused to listen. In their hearts and minds, most Israelites returned to the idolatrous pagan practices, that originated in Egypt and Babylon. 

Rev 17:5; The Babylonian "Mother of Harlots", ordained the sacrifice of "Innocent Life" as a Substitution "Scape Goat", to appease the wrath of false gods. Many other pagan forms of mythological symbolism were practiced, as a sign of their religious devotion. The outcast Israelites, including Judah and Levi, distorted symbolic rituals, that became empty and profane acts of worship. Their unrepentant, hearts and minds, remained enslaved to sinful lawlessness and rebellion against Yehwah Elohe's "Covenant Law".

Paul's message to Galatians, is relevant for modern Christianity and Judaism. The "Great Apostasy" continues, as Religious teachers, preach a Salvation based on, Sacrificial Symbolism, within the "Scape Goat" Substitution of an "Innocent Lamb". Religious fervor, trust in sacrificial "Blood" to appease wrath, as if injustice will pay their "Sin Debt". But, "Substitutionary Innocent Blood", can never cover-up the sinful lawlessness that remains in the hearts and minds, of devoted children of the "Mother of Harlots".

Circumcised Hearts


Paul proclaimed the True "Good News"! Calling everyone, to repent, by turning away from sinful lawlessness. Spiritual conversion begins, when a person enters into the renewed covenant with Yehwah Elohe. Paul explains, that "Baptized" believers, are devoting their own life, by participating in a sacrifice of "Faithful Obedience" to the "Law" within the "Renewed Covenant" agreement. The gift of the "Spirit of Holiness", begins renewing a persons mind. The Spirit, of the Father instructs the Faithful in the "Way of Righteousness", that will Free them from Slavery, within Sinful Lawlessness.

"True Gospel of Good News" 


The apostle Paul proclaims the True message of salvation, that begins with the promised hope in the “Resurrection” of the “Righteous”, that is revealed through the Living Savior, Messiah Yeshua .


(Hebrews 7:26; the Exceeding and All Surpassing, High Priest, Messiah Yeshua is Holy, innocent, undefiled, set apart from sinners, and Exalted Above the heavens!)

Resurrection of the Dead

Messiah's Death does Not "Save" anyone, but there is hope in the promised Resurrection.

Paul gives instruction about; Baptism, receiving the Spirit, the Resurrection, and Judgment.

Defining:  "πέρ = Uper = Hyper"


1. Lexicons will contain several possible expressions in English, that may closely relate to the original language. The Greek word "πέρ" is equivalent to the English word "Hyper". Both, "πέρ = Hyper" Express a prepositional relationship within a sentence. "πέρ = Hyper" identifies a comparative or contrasting position, establishing that the "subject = Messiah", is over, above, beyond, exceeding, and surpassing; the "subordinate clause = our sins" within:

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NA27) — 21 τν μ γνόντα μαρτίαν πρ μν μαρτίαν ποίησεν, να μες γενώμεθα δικαιοσύνη θεο ν ατ.

4. μαρτίαν  = sin

 5. πρ =  exceeding (theologians add the transference meaning: “on behalf of”)

6. μν  = our (translators alter the personal possessive pronoun “our” end incorrectly use the word “us”)

7. μαρτίαν  = sin (there should be a “,” at the end of the statement “our sin, ”)

8. ποίησεν = performed (translators deliberately lie, when they claim that this single word in Greek may express that, “god made him to be or become sin”. It should be obvious that Messiah did not “perform our sin”. The sentence clearly states that Messiah “performed” a sinless life “exceeding our sin,”)

9. να = so that

11. γενώμεθα  = become (this is a compound word that means: by practice or repetition)

12. δικαιοσύνη = righteous

13. θεο = god or Eloheyem

2. Lexicons also represent the interpretive viewpoints of translator’s that redefine words to conform closely to their theological interpretation.

1. “for” ( is an inadequate term that does not truly express “uper”),, 

2. “for one’s sake” (Christian translators deceptively change the definition of the word “uper” to create a false doctrine),

3. “on one’s behalf” (is a misappropriated transference meaning that does not properly express “uper = exceeding or surpassing”), 

4. “in one’s stead” (the Greek word “uper” does not represent the erroneous theological substitution scape goat sacrifice).

Galatians 1:4 (NASB95) — 4 who gave Himself (for? = πέρ = Uper = exceeding or surpassing) our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our EL elyon the Father ,

Yehwah Elohe's "Mercy" is given to the Truly Repentant person, that is learning Faithful Obedience. Only the Righteous will be Justified and be worthy of the promised Resurrection to Eternal Life.

Disciples Reconciliation begins by participation in Messiah's Death, and they are Saved by His Life.

Baptism, is a commitment to put to death the sinful human nature and begin a renewed life devoted to Righteousness.

Messiah condemns sin, and requires Obedience to His Covenant Law.

the Holy Spirit of the Father, Renews the mind of Disciples, to perfect Sacrificial Obedience.

No one is Saved by Messiah's Death. It is Yeshua's Resurrection, that proves He is the only Sinless Savior. ) 


No one is Saved, by believing that Messiah Yeshua's Death, represents a Substitution "Scape Goat" Sacrifice. The symbolic sacrifices, within the "Works of the Law", portray "Messiah Yeshua's" perfect Sacrifice of Faithful Obedience. Worshipers participate in the "Renewed Covenant" agreement through a "Spiritual Union" with Messiah. Faithful believers, are required, to make their own life a sacrifice, by following Yeshua's example.   Each person must overcome their own sinful human nature, and be proven Righteous, to be worthy of participation in the First Resurrection and receive Eternal Life.

“True Gospel of Messiah"? 


Apostle Paul opposes a false "Gospel", that originated in the misuse of the symbolic Covenant sign of “Fleshly Circumcision”.

“Revelation, of the Resurrected Messiah"! 


Paul received the true gospel, through spiritual anointing and revelation of Messiah Yeshua within himself.

The apostle Paul, previously was a zealous defender of Jewish traditions and he violently persecuted the followers of Messiah Yeshua .

False Jewish believers did not understand the spiritual liberation in Messiah Yeshua .

Jewish religious traditions focused on the animal sacrificial “Works of the Law” and “Circumcision” in the flesh. The Jewish people remained in bondage “Under the Law” of levitical Authority and the dependency on their misuse of symbolism.

Spiritual Circumcision, will place the Covenant Law in a person's Heart and mind.

Yehwah Elohe's Covenant Laws establish Truth and Righteous Judgment, that will set people Free from their enslavement to Sinful Lawlessness.  

True salvation requires a spiritual circumcision of the heart, that comes through obedience to Messiah Yeshua and the Heavenly Father.

Paul proclaimed the true "Good News of the Kingdom" of Yehwah Elohe the "Logos Spokesman" and High Priest "Melchizedek". Who is the promised, Savior Messiah Yeshua . The Gospel of Redemption was offered to  both circumcised Jewish people and also uncircumcised gentile converts.

Messiah Yeshua is Yehwah Elohe the King of Zion, and the only begotten Son, of EL elyon the Father .

Messiah is the "Holy One" and His Resurrected Body did "Not" suffer decay. Yeshua is the Good Shepherd, that leads His disciples on the path to Eternal Life.

Yehwah Elohe is the Savior Messiah Yeshua  and also High Priest Melchizedek the King of Righteousness.

Yehwah Elohe fulfilled His promise of becoming the "Savior Yeshua". The Messiah Loves Righteousness and Hates Lawlessness.

The Merciful and Faithful High Priest, is perfected through suffering and helps people resist sinful temptations.

Moses proclaimed "Good News of Salvation", but most of Israel was UnFaithful and DisObedient.

Yeshua is the begotten Son of EL elyon the Father. Messiah is the perfect High Priest Melchizedek and Savior for everyone that Obeys Him.

Paul's opposition to Peter, oper “Circumcision?” 


Galatians 2:12 (NASB95) — 12 For prior to the coming of certain men from James, (he = Peter) used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and hold himself aloof, fearing the party of the circumcision.


(Acts 11:1; 2; 3; 4; 14; 15; 16; 17; 18; )

Peter Had received revelation, that Yehwah's Spirit of Holiness, is cleansing the Gentiles and leading them into Faithful Obedience, by "Circumcising" their hearts.


Romans 1:5 (NASB95) — 5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name’s sake,

All Sinful DisObedience to Covenant Law, must be corrected. 


(Ro 9:1; 2; 3; 4; 14; 15; 24; 25; 26; 30; 31; 32; 33; 10:2; 3; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 20; 21; 11:6; 7; 11; 12; 13; 14; 15; 25; 26; 27; )

but, most religious Jews, believed that "Circumcision" in the flesh, is required for salvation. So, Peter withdrew from fellowshipping, with "UnCircumcised" Gentile believers. Peter was returning to the familiar Jewish practice, of trusting in the symbolic sacrificial "Works of the Law"", that will never perfect Faithful Obedience within the heart of a believer. Paul instructed Peter, that Gentile believers are learning Obedience, from a heart of Faithfulness. Peter should not require Gentiles, to trust in symbolic sacrificial "Works of the Law" for their Salvation.

Galatians 2:14 (NASB95) — 14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to (Cephas = Peter) in the presence of all, “If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?

Later, Peter, James, and Paul, came to the agreement, that the symbolic sign of "Circumcision", does Not replace, Faithful Obedience, that is required for Salvation. Faithfully Obeying "Yehwah's Covenant Laws" given to Moses, is more important, then symbolic sacrificial "Works" and "Circumcision" in the flesh.


Acts 15:19–21 (corrected text) — 19 “Therefore it is my judgment that we do not: 

(trouble = by requiring adult Gentile men, to become circumcised in the flesh, because symbolic "Works" do "NOT", guarantee their salvation) 

Those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles, 

20 but that we write to them that they abstain from things: 

(contaminated = everything unclean and unholy, and abstaining from contaminated, unclean animals, that violate the food laws, that were given to Moses in: 

(Leviticus 11:1-43; 44; 45; 46; 47; 19:2; 20:7; 26; 21:6; Nu 15:40; 1 Cor 1:2; Eph 1:4; 1 Pe 1:16; ) ... 

(including meat sacrifice to = idols) and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood.) 

21 “For Moses, from ancient generations, has by those who preach him, to every city, since he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”.

Circumcision, in the flesh, is the sign of Abraham's Covenant with Yehwah Elohe. 

(Acts 7:8; Ro 4:11; Jn 7:22; )

Abraham was commanded, to Circumcise every newborn male child, on the 8th day after birth. 

(Ro 2:25; 26; 27; 28; 29; )

Circumcision in the flesh, is a reminder, that Israel must Faithfully Obey Yehwah Elohe's Covenant Laws. 

(1 Cor 7:19; ) 

Faithful Obedience to Covenant Law, is the True Circumcision of the Heart. 

(Ga 5:6; 6:15; Ex 20:6; )

Obedience to Covenant Law, reveals a Spiritual Love for Yehwah Elohe and all neighbors. 

(Eph 2:11; Php 3:3; Col 2:11; )

The apostle Paul, is contrasting, Circumcised Israel's unfaithfulness and comparing it to the required circumcision of the heart that produces Faithful Obedience. Messiah Yeshua is offering merciful Covenant Renewal to every truly repentant person. A baptized believer, will receive the Spirit of Holiness. Spiritual cleansing, will begin renewing a persons mind. Circumcising their hearts by cutting away the lawlessness, in their old sinful human nature.

(Acts 21:18; 19; 20; 21; 22; 23; 24; )

But, Paul never teaches faithful believing parents, to violate Covenant Law, by "NOT" Circumcising a new born male child, on the 8th day after birth.)

The sign of "Circumcision" in the flesh, is of great value, if a person Obeys the "Covenant Law".


(Acts 15:1; 2; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 19; 20; 21; Ro 2:12; 13; 24; 25; 26; 27; ) 

apostle Paul opposed the Jewish religious leaders that demanded that gentile converts, must be circumcised in the flesh to be saved. Jewish religious leaders desired to place Gentiles “Under the Law” of Levitical authority, that requires the priestly mediation within the sacrificial “Works of the Law”.

the Jewish people, lived "Under the Law" that established the Levitical priesthood, as religious authority and judges over Israel. Aaron's descendants performed the symbolic sacrificial "Works of the Law", as temporary mediators between Yehwah and Israel.

But now, Messiah Yeshua is restored to His Eternal position as High Priest "Melchizedek". The mediation of "Covenant Renewal" is administered "Under the Law" establishing Messiah Yeshua , as the only Judge and Savior.    


Galatians 2:16; 

“Works of the Law?”  


(Ro 3:19; 20; 27; 28; 29; 30; 31; Ga 2:16; 3:2; 5; 10; ) 

Paul, taught that no one could be “Justified or proven Righteous” through the sacrificial “Works of the Law” or the symbolic “Circumcision” in the flesh, that never saved anyone.

The true gospel of salvation. Reveals, Messiah Yeshua is willing to show “Mercy or Grace”. When, a person turns away from sinful lawlessness. Truely Repentant disciples, enter into the renewed Spiritual Covenant. Salvation requires the “Circumcision of the Heart”, that will perfect, Faithful Obedience to the Covenant Law.

The first point, please notice, that the phrase "works - - law is a reference to the physical labor performed by the levitical priest. The apostle Paul, is opposed to the misuse of the symbolism within Fleshly "circumcision" and "animal sacrifices" that can never save anyone.

The second point, "Believe - Christ" represents obedience to the covenant Commandments and following Messiah Yeshua's, example of putting to death the human sinful nature.

The third point, everyone that obeys the covenant law will be "Justified" and proven "Righteous".

The fourth point, "Sanctification" by the Spirit of Holiness, produces the fruits of the spirit and good works in everyone that obeys Messiah Yeshua.

The fifth Point, "Glorification" is the reward for everyone that overcomes sinful lawlessness and is worthy to receive eternal life at the first resurrection.

Translators attempt to establish a misperception through a philosophical interpretation.

The delusion of a person" being"Dead to the law" is a psychological self deception that pretends that there is no governing authority or law that judges their behavior.


Establishing Law by Obedient Faithfulness

The true gospel of salvation becomes a reality through a “Circumcised Heart”. Producing a personal spiritual Union, when believers join in following Messiah Yeshua’s sacrifice of Faithful Obedience. The apostle Paul is contrasting True Salvation, to the inadequate symbolism of animal sacrifices required in the “Works of the Law” and the “Circumcision” in the flesh.

The Covenant Law is in Yeshua's Heart. And His example of "Trusting Love", reveals the Faithfulness of Yehwah's promise of "Salvation", that rewards the Faithfully Obedient.

“Law of Works vs Faithful Covenant Obedience!”

Paul clearly establishes that the animal sacrifices, are the required “Works of the Law”, that never cleanse the worshipers Conscience. The priestly mediation of animal sacrifices, only became a continual reminder of sin. So then, no one is Justified by the symbolic “Works of the Law”. Sinners that trust in symbolic sacrifices, will remain Under “Judgment or a Curse!”.

In Deuteronomy 27:26; the Hebrew Word ( A-R-R =  אָרוּר ) is deceptively translated "Curse":

(Deut 27:26; A-R-R =  אָרוּר );  means: to be Judged, to be Hated, and mistranslated Curse.)

“Curse, Malicious Judgment, or Hatred?”


 In Galatians 3:13; Paul seems to state that the Heavenly Father "Cursed" His Son because He was crucified on a tree. The word, "Curse" in the original Greek and Hebrew should be translated; "Hated, Despised, and Mocked or belittled." 

Ga 3:13; Paul is quoting Deut 21:23; he does not say, "cursed of (God = Eloheyem) but only says, "Hated (קְלָלָה = qâlalah ) is everyone that is hung on a tree." 


Deuteronomy 21:22–23 (NASB95) — 22 “If a man has committed a sin worthy of death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, 23 his corpse shall not hang all night on the tree, but you shall surely bury him on the same day (for he who is hanged is (accursed = Hated =קְלָלָה = qâlalah ) of (God = Eloheyem)), so that you do not defile your land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance.


Paul understood:

 Deut 21:22; requires Justice, with proof that a person is guilty of a crime that is worthy of the death sentence.

exactly, 430 years later. Abraham’s Israelite descendants departed Egypt, on the evening that began the first day of “Unleavened Bread”.

then on Pentecost, 50+3 days later, the Israelites agreed to Obey, Yehwah Elohe’s Eternal “Covenant Laws”. Yehwah’s Covenant, was handed down from Adam to Noah to Abraham and then Moses. The Israelites promised to be “Faithfully Obedient”.

But, the Israelites quickly became “UnFaithful”, by worshiping an idolatrous image of a golden calf.

So then, Yehwah Elohe established Moses and Aaron as mediators and placed the Israelites “Under the Law” of the levitical priesthood. The Levitical priesthood was added 430 years after the original “Covenant” promise was given to Abraham.

The Priestly descendants of Aaron were required to perform the symbolic sacrificial “Works of the Law”. But, animal sacrifices only became a continual reminder of Israel’s sinful disobedience to “Covenant Law”.  


Atonement and 2 Goats?

on Atonement, two seemingly identical (goats or rams) were chosen. Only one goat portrays Messiah and is Holy. The other goat represents "Satan = (Azazel, that is mistranslated Scape Goat)".

One goat represents, the "Holy Sacrificial Blood or Spiritual Life" that is offered for the purification and cleansing, that will remove Sin from the people.

The second goat represents, (Azazel = Satan the cause of Sin) and he must be cast out, to completely purge lawlessness from the people.

On Atonement, worshipers must fast as a sign of self denial. Fasting symbolizes a person's participation in putting to death their own Sinful human Nature.

Levitical priests performed symbolic animal sacrifices, while Jewish religious leaders UnJustly Condemned and Crucified the Innocent "Lamb = Yehwah Elohe" Messiah. Yeshua, the True "Passover Lamb" was rejected and suffered outside of the (City or camp) where the Atonement physical remains are burned.

Disciples follow Messiah's example, by making their life a sacrifice of Faithful Obedience, that is"Self Denial" and "Freedom" from Sinful Lawlessness.

“Under the Tutorial Law of Mediation”.

The mediation of Moses and Aaron, could not free the Israelites from their sinful disobedience and unfaithfulness to the Sinai “Covenant” agreement. The descendants of Abraham received the living “Words” of Yehwah Elohe and the hope of adoption into the family of Eloheyem. But, most Israelite’s had “UnCircumcised Hearts” and remained “Sinfully DisObedient”. So then, the priestly descendants of Aaron became “Tutors” to the Israelites that were placed “Under the Law” of Levitical “Judges”.

Israel was “Under” the “Law” of levitical “Mediators”, that performed the sacrificial “Works of the Law”. Symbolic animal “Sacrifices” and “Circumcision” in the flesh, never freed them from “Sin”. So, they could not receive “Eternal Life”.

Paul reminds Israel that the Eternal “Covenant Law” within the “10 Commandments” represent the pathway to “Eternal Life. Sadly, now the “Holy and Righteous Covenant Law” has become the authority that judges and condemns sinful lawlessness.

Israel had the “Good News” preached to them. But, it did not benefit them, because of their “DisObedience” to the “Covenant” agreement and their continual “UnFaithfulness”.

Messiah Yeshua is the “Faithful” High priest “Melchizedek. And He condemns Sin in the flesh. So that, the “Righteous” requirement of the “Covenant Law”, will be completely “Obeyed”, by disciples that walk in agreement with His Spirit of Holiness.

Faith in Yeshua the Savior, will “Free from Sin” each person that learns to “Obey” Messiah’s “Words of Truth" written within the “Covenant Law”. The restoration of Messiah Yeshua as High Priest Melchizedek, has disarmed the Jewish religious authorities. Therefore, Israel must repent and return to Yeshua the Savior. Then they would no longer be “Under the Law” of levitical Priests that were imperfect Tutors”.

The natural human is motivated by fleshly desires, that are often in conflict with, Yehwah Elohe’s Spiritual “Covenant Laws”.

Yehwah’s laws govern the physical creation. So, there are natural consequences for human sinful disobedience.

Therefore, Yehwah Elohe judges mankind. As a parent would correct their own children. The nation of Israel, often suffered disciplinary punishment. Because of their sinful “UnFaithfulness” to the “Covenant Law”.

Yehwah ordained levitical priests, and placed the children of Israel “Under the Law” of Covenant Judges.

Levitical priests performed sacrificial “Works of the Law”, as merciful mediators, if a person sinned in ignorance.

A repentant person, must present the required offering to the priest, to receive forgiveness. Presenting the acceptable offering, initiated Physical cleansing for the body of a believer.

Levitical tutors, also maintained the law governing “Elementary Principles” for physical cleanliness. Yehwah Elohe’s Laws are valuable instruction, that protect the healthy natural social order. Physical purification protects from diseases that occurred because of ignorance, of Yehwah Elohe’s Laws, that govern creation. “Covenant Law” is valuable as a teacher.

Animal sacrifices and “Circumcision” in the flesh, represent Symbolic “Works”. Symbolism is intended to reveal the deeper spiritual “Sacrifices, that require Obedience” in “Love” for the “Truth” that is necessary for the cleansing of the heart.

“Redemption, Under the Law?”

A virgin named Mary, gave birth to the promised “Savior = Yeshua”. The “Immanuel = Elohe with us” became subject to the “Elemental Principles”. Messiah Yeshua was “Circumcised” on the eighth day after birth. Also, Mary and Joseph offered the required sacrifice for the “Redemption” of their first born son. The promised Messiah, Faithfully lived “Under the Law” the Levitical priestly Authority.

The word, “Redeem = Buy Back” or “Restore value”!

Gentiles became slaves to demonic spirits, that corrupted their conscience, and inspired mythological lies that satisfied evil desires.

Many times, Yehwah Elohe, warned Israel to not follow the pagan practices of the Gentiles. But, Israel often adopted idolatry, and even sacrificed their children to Molech.

Unfaithful, Israel bowed to the sun, moon, stars, and worshipped the Queen of heaven.

King Solomon rebuilt the Ashtaroth, honoring the two horn goddess of Bashan and Babylon.

Paul warned the Gentiles. Do not return to the pagan special days of “Sun-day” worship, “Ashtaroth = Ishtar = Easter”, and the winter solstice celebration of “Saturnalia = chi-ro-mas”.

Paul suffered physically, but was strengthened spiritually during his preaching of the “True Gospel”.

Paul’s failing eyesight and humble appearance, did not diminish his Spiritual insight. Paul, powerfully preached the “True” message of “Salvation”.

Paul taught from his detailed understanding of Scripture, and the hidden wisdom that is revealed through the knowledge of Messiah Yeshua .

“Birth Pains?”.

Jewish synagogues, throughout the Roman empire, often attracted Gentile converts. Gentiles were being taught rabbinical traditions that distorted the true “Covenant Commandments” of Yehwah Elohe.

Jewish religious leaders often opposed Paul’s scriptural presentation of “True Salvation” through Messiah Yeshua .

Paul was concerned for the Gentiles proselytes, that were being pressured, by Jewish zealots, to except rabbinical authority.

“Under the Law, and the ONE Covenant, Allegory”


(Mt 23:1; 2; 3; 13; 15; Ro 10:2; 11:7; ) 

Jewish zealots, desired to place Gentile converts, “Under the Law” of levitical mediation, and the required sacrificial “Works of the Law”. Circumcised descendants of Abraham, trusted in symbolic sacrificial “Works” to “Justify” their “Right” to inherit Yehwah Elohe’s “Covenant Kingdom”. 

But, Paul desired to rescue the Gentiles, from becoming slaves, “Under the Law” of the levitical mediation, that can never save anyone.

So, Paul created a comparative Allegory. Paul contrasted Ishmael and Isaac, as if representing two divergent views of the “ONE” Covenant. Abraham’s son Ishmael was born of a slave woman. But, Isaac was born through a miraculous promise given to Abraham and Sarah.

The Sinai “Covenant” with Israel, only produced children, that became slaves “Under the Law” of Levitical mediators. The animal sacrifices, required in the “Works of the Law” only became a continual reminder of sinful lawlessness, and they figuratively represent Ishmael.

(Psa 40:6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; Jn 8:30; 31; 32; 33; 34; 35; 36; 15:9-10; Heb 10:15; 16; 17; ) 

And then, Paul portrays Isaac as the “Covenant ReNewal of Freedom”, through the promised “Seed = Messiah Yeshua”. Baptized disciples of the promised Messiah, have received the Spirit of Holiness, to set them free from sin that leads to death. The Faithfully Obedient to “Covenant Law”, now hope in the future “Resurrection” of the “Righteous”.

The “Faithful” that overcome “Sin”, are promised to receive “Eternal Life”, that begins the “Kingdom Restoration” of all things.

“Circumcision of the Heart vs Flesh”

Paul intensely opposed the misuse of the symbolic sign of “Circumcision” in the flesh.  Only, truly repentant believers, that receive the “Spirit of Holiness”, will be set “Free” from Sinful Lawlessness. The Spirit writes the “Renewed Covenant Law” in their mind and “Circumcises their Heart”. Producing “Faithful Obedience” to Messiah Yeshua. Everyone that is led by the spirit of truth, pursues “Righteousness”, with the hope of being worthy of receiving Eternal Life in the First Resurrection. But, believers may be (severed = separated) from “True Faith” in Messiah, by trusting in the “Law” of symbolic sacrificial “Works” or “Circumcision in the Flesh”.

Salvation is obtained through Repentance, Baptism, and the “Merciful or Gracious” Spiritual cleansing, by Yeshua the Eternal Mediator and High Priest Melchizedek.

Additional notation: Paul’s warning against the misuse of symbolism, may also be applied to the Passover bread and wine. The pagan practice of appeasing the wrath of gods by a “Scape Goat Substitution Sacrifice has corrupted the symbolism of the Passover “Lamb’s Blood”.

Messiah described His Body and Blood” , as food for His disciples. Messiah’s metaphor was never intended to be understood literally. Cannibalism is a violation of the “Covenant Food Laws”. The figurative representation of “Body and Blood”, portrays Yeshua’s physical life of walking in perfect “Spiritual Covenant” with the Father. The Understanding of mysterious symbolic terms would be revealed to the disciples, later, when the “Holy Spirit” of the Father was poured out on Pentecost. So then, the Passover symbols of “Bread and Wine” figuratively represent the promise “Spiritual Covenant ReNewal” that leads to Eternal Life.

Paul’s letter to the Galatians, has clearly identified the inadequacies of trusting in, the symbolic “Works of the Law” and the sign of “Circumcision in the Flesh”. Paul taught, that disciples must follow Messiah Yeshua’s example of faithful obedience, by crucifying their own sinful nature. So that, they may be renewed by the spirit of holiness that will set them free from sinful lawlessness that leads to death. Circumcision of the heart leads to eternal life, but circumcision in the flesh does “Not Save” anyone.

The lawless Jewish religious leaders, were in the midst of the people. And they stirred up the crowds, shouting; “Crucify Him”. But, the Roman governor, Pontius pilot, washed his hands to show he was not guilty of Yeshua’s  innocent blood. The Jews brought judgment upon themselves,

saying; may His blood be on our heads.

The purpose of the cross, is to convict, everyone of their sins. 

(Acts 2:22-23; 24-25; 26-27; 28-29; 30-31; 32-33; 34-35; 36-37; 38; )

Yeshua’s resurrection on the third day, proved that He is the sinless Messiah.)

 

(So now, (Heb 7:11; 12; ) 

the Jewish religious leaders have been removed from the position of being judges over Israel.

The authority of the High Priest has been “Transferred” to Messiah Yeshua, Who is Melchizedek. And the “Mediation” of the “Covenant Law”, has also been “Transferred” to Messiah Yeshua, Who is the Eternal “Law” giver, Yehwah Elohe.  )


15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him-self.

 16 Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a ("New Moon" G 3561) or a Sabbath day— 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
