John 19:30; Luke 23:46; Mark 15:37; The crucifixion narrative, within each gospel, appear to make conflicting statements about Messiah’s last word. Did? Messiah Yeshua say, “it is finished” or “What”!!!

Carefully examining each crucifixion account, will reveal important information. Discovering Mysteries, Hidden behind misleading translations of the original, Hebrew and Greek.


Beginning In John 19: there are several references, to the Hebrew language, that was spoken by Messiah Yeshua and the Jewish people. Even “Yeshua”, His Hebrew name, is phonetically spelled: “ησος” with Greek alphabetical letters. “Yeshua = ησος“,was mistranslated, over 1000 years later, into the English Word Jesus.

John 19:16; (Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha)

John 19:20; (written in Hebrew, Latin and in Greek)

Also, Mark 15:34; Messiah Yeshua is speaking Hebrew and quoting:  

Psalms 22:1; Mark Records the Hebrew words by spelling them phonetically with Greek letters. So, logic dictates that “Yeshua” last word would be spoken in the Hebrew language.

Fulfilling Hebrew Scripture


The gospel Accounts, of the crucifixion narrative, fulfill prophetic quotes from the Hebrew Scriptures.

In John 19:24; Psalms 22:16; 18; (to fulfill or to cause to happen = πληρωθplērōthē) the Scripture: “They divided My outer garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.

And John 19:28; 29; 30; Psalms 69:9; 20-21; they gave me, “sour wine” for my thirst.


John Quoting Prophecy


 John 19:1-12; 13-15; 16-19; 20-23; 24-26; 27-28; 29-30; 31-35; 36-37; is a narrative written by the apostle John. 

John 19:27; describes the moment when the apostle John took Mary away from the crucifixion area. At that point in time, John was no longer present at the crucifixion. 

So then, John 19:28; 29; 30; only continue as a narrative of prophetic Scriptures. 

Fulfilling,, Psalms 69:9; 20-21; when Messiah received the sour wine. John's narrative emphasizes, “Thus, it is finished”, as a reference to the fulfillment of the specific Scripture that John is quoting. Messiah Yeshua did not, “say, it is finished”. Also, Christian theologians deceptively claim,  “it is finished” refers to the payment of a sin debt, that satisfies their, “Substitution Scape Goat” idolatry..

According to John


John 19:28 Within Himself, (Jesus = ησος_Iēsous = Yeshua) knowing (because, at that time, all) (it to be finished = “Τετέλεσται” = predicting the future fulfillment), so that .(To fulfill = “τελειωθ”) the Scripture (said = λέγει = Lego), “thirsty.” 

John 19:29 A jar full of sour wine was standing there; so they put a sponge full of the sour wine upon a branch of hyssop and brought it up to His mouth.

 John 19:30 Therefore when (Jesus = ησος_Iēsous = Yeshua) had received the sour wine, (“He said” - was added and does not represent the Greek word - “επεν = Thus”), (“It is finished = Τετέλεσται”) And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

(John 19:30, is mistranslated. Here is the correct sentence structure.


John 19:30 (NA27 Int.) — 30 (τε = after) (ον = therefore) (λαβεν = receiving) (τ = the) (ξος = sour wine), 

[ = a or the] (ησος = Yeshua!!!?) 

(επεν· = thus), (Τετέλεσται = it to be finished)

(κα = And (κλίνας = bowing) (τν = His) (κεφαλν = Head), (παρέδωκεν = gave up) (τ = the) (πνεμα = Spirit).


John 19:30;  Therefore, after receiving the sour wine. 

[a] “Yeshua”! 

(thus = επεν) (It to be finished = Τετέλεσται). 

And bowing His head, gave up the Spirit.]


( επεν = thus… does not mean to speak = Lego)

( επεν = thus, emphasizes the connection to the predicate, “it to be finished = Τετέλεσται” and the subject = the sour wine, received by Yeshua , and His, expiring last breath.

Alternatively: John’s narrative, (επεν = thus) it to be finished. May surprisingly agree with Luke 23:46; and Mark 15:37; by emphasizing the connection to Messiah Roaring his name: “Yeshua”! )


 (Predicate = to state or affirm or assert something about a subject within a sentence)


John 19:30; John added the statement: ) (It to be finished = Τετέλεσται).

Mark 15:34; reveals, Messiah Yeshua was speaking Hebrew. But John used the Greek word: ( Τετέλεσται). John did not use the Hebrew word: ( כָּלָה = finished).

A primitive root;  206 occurrences; AV translates as “end” 44 times, “finish” 20 times, “accomplish” 12 times, “done” nine times,  “ended” seven times, “fulfil” three times, 1b1 to complete, bring to an end, finish. 1b2 to complete (a period of time). 1b3 to finish (doing a thing). 1b4 to make an end, end. 1b5 to accomplish, fulfil, bring to pass. 1b6 to accomplish, determine (in thought). 1b7 to put an end to, cause to cease.

The first person singular present indicative, a prolonged form of a primary and defective verb;  146 occurrences; AV translates as “I am + 1473” 74 times, “am” 55 times, “it is I + 1473” six times, “be” twice, “I was + 1473” once, “have been” once, and not translated seven times. 1 to be, to exist, to happen, to be present.

(John 19:1-37; establishes the context of scripture, that is being, “ τέλεσ = finished or completed”. There is absolutely NO reference to a financial contract or the completion of a debt payment in John chapter 19. The statement, “Jesus paid your sin debt”, does not exist anywhere within scripture. Christian theologians create a deceptive interpretation of the Greek word, “τέλεσ” to support their pagan, “Substitution Scape Goat” idolatry.)

Translators add: Additional Information by misinterpreting: “It is finished or paid” John 19:30 Christ satisfied god’s? justice by dying for (ALL?) to pay for the sins of the ELECT?). These sins can never be punished again since that would violate (god? = satan’s = Azazel = Substitution Scape Goat) justice. Sins can only be punished once, either by a substitute or by yourself.

From a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal); 42 occurrences; AV translates as “end” 35 times, “custom” three times, “uttermost” once, “finally” once, “ending” once, and “by (one’s) continual + 1519” once. 1 end. 1a termination, the limit at which a thing ceases to be (always of the end of some act or state, but not of the end of a period of time). 1b the end. 1b1 the last in any succession or series. 1b2 eternal. 1c that by which a thing is finished, its close, issue. 1d the end to which all things relate, the aim, purpose. 2 toll, custom (i.e. indirect tax on goods).

the Greek word for "it is finished" here is tetelestai...it was a word familiar at that time in accounting...the term meant "paid in full"...the word was written on business documents or receipts in N.T. times to show a bill had been paid in full.  The Greek English lexicon by Moulton and Milligan says of this word: "Receipts are often introduced by the phrase (tetelestai), usually written in an abbreviated manner..." pg 630.  The connection between receipts and what Christ accomplished would have been quite clear to John's Greek speaking readership; it would be unmistakable that Jesus Christ had died to pay for their sins.

Theology or Truth?


The gospel of John 19:30; Luke 23:46; and Mark 15:34; 37;; seem to present contradictory narratives of Messiah Yeshua’s last words.

Luke 23:46 (NASB95) — 46 And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” Having said this, He breathed His last.


The gospel of Luke 23:46; is deceptively mistranslated, by incorrectly defining the Greek word: “επεν = thus”. 

( επεν = thus… does not mean to speak = Lego)

( επεν = thus, transitions to; Luke’s narrative, by quoting from: Psalms 31:5;,” father, into your hands, I entrust the Spirit”. )


Luke 23:46 (NA27 Int.) — 46 (κα = and) (φωνήσας = call out) (φων = Voice or Roar) (μεγάλ = magnified) 

( = a or the): ( ησος = “Yeshua”!) 

(επεν· = Thus), (Πάτερ = Father) (ες = into) (χεράς = hands), (σου = your) (παρατίθεμαι = entrust) (τ = the) (πνεμά = Spirit) (μου = I, me or my). 

(τοτο = therefore or this one) (δ = and then) (επν = thus) (ξέπνευσεν = expiring… last breath).


(in Luke 23:46; Messiah’s mega-phone voice, Roars, “Yeshua”! 

then, Luke adds his interpretation by assuming there is a connection to the quote from Psalms 31:5; 

Thus… 

Psalm 31:5 (NASB95) — 5 Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth.

Then, Luke completes his narrative, by emphasizing Messiah Yeshua’s, expiring last breath;

And then, this one, thus, expiring… last breath.)


 The gospel Account from John 19:28-30; Luke 23:46; and Mark 15:34; 37; seemingly contradict each other. To restore Harmony within scripture requires a careful pursuit of Truth., : 

Psalms 22:1; will reveal a hidden mystery within the original Hebrew language and assist in clarifying Greek translation errors.

This verse is Mistranslated: Psalm 22:1 (NASB95) — 1 My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning.

Exodus 3:15 (NASB95) — 15 (God = Eloheyem = אֱלֹהִים), furthermore, said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘(Lord =Yehwah = יהוה) (God = Elohe = אֱלֹהֵי) of your fathers, (God = Elohe = אֱלֹהֵי) of Abraham, (God = Elohe = אֱלֹהֵי) of Isaac, and (God = Elohe = אֱלֹהֵי) of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations.


Here is a careful examination of Isaiah 52:6-10; with the correct Hebrew titles of Yehwah Elohe Yeshua . Proper Hebrew grammar is explained by examining the additional suffix endings, that may be added to personal titles.


In Isaiah 52:6; (Yehwah = יהוה ) declares that the people shall know His name and that he is speaking: then in line 7, Isaiah: identifies (Yehwah = יהוה ) as the one proclaiming “Good News” and announces his name: (salvation = יְשׁוּעָ֑ה = Yeshua… name has a “ה” ending that is the definite article “the” that identifies his title: the Savior = Yeshua)… the sentence continues, proclaim to (Zion = צִיּ֖וֹן ), (God? = אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ = Elohe… name has a “ךְ” = K ending that expresses certainty) (Molek  = מָלַ֥ךְ = King or reigns)!!! The ending of line 7 should state: “the Yeshua”, proclaim to Zion, Elohe certainly King. 


 Finally in line 10: Isaiah states that all mankind will see, You =(savior = יְשׁוּעַ֥ת = Yeshua… name has a “ת” = Ht = ending, that may represent the second person pronoun, you or a marker and sign ) our (God? = אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ = Elohe … name has a “נוּ” = “N-WU” suffix ending that represents the first person possessive pronoun our).

Isaiah 52:10; ends, by stating that all humanity will see: You_“Yeshua our Elohe!!!” The name: “Elohe = אֱלֹהָֽיִ” is a complete title that identifies Messiah Yeshua as the eternal “Yehwah Elohe” proclaimed in Exodus 3:15;>>>Elohe = “אֱלֹהָֽיִ” by it self, never means “my god, your god, or our god”.


Yeshua = יְשׁוּעָ֑ … …Elohe = אֱלֹהַי

Mark 15:34; Fulfills prophecy within Messiah’s last words. Messiah Yeshua is speaking Hebrew Psalms 22:1; while Mark records the Hebrew words, phonetically with Greek alphabetical letters.

Now, compare Mark’s phonetic spelling of the Hebrew Psalms 22:1; with the misleading Greek translation.

Mark 15:33–37 (NASB95) — 33 When the sixth hour came, darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour. 34 At the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is (mistranslated), “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” 35 When some of the bystanders heard it, they began saying, “Behold, He is calling for Elijah.” 36 Someone ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on a reed, and gave Him a drink, saying, “Let us see whether Elijah will come to take Him down.” 37 And Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed His last.


Mark 15:37; the original Greek grammar, reveals a surprising prophetic mystery!


Mark 15:37 (NA27 Int.) — 37 ( = a or the) (δ = and then) (ησος = Yeshua) (φες = departing) (φωνν = sound or Voice) (μεγάλην = magnified) (ξέπνευσεν = expiring last breath).


(mark 15:37; And then, “Yeshua!” Departing Roar, Magnified, expiring… last breath.

This sentence may be rephrased from the Greek poetic verse into the following English sentence structure. 

 and then a departing Magnified Roar, “Yeshua!” Expiring… last breath!) 


Mark 15:37; complete Psalms 22:1; Messiah’s departing great roar, he shouted his name “Yeshua” with his last breath. “Yeshua” is a shout of victory, that means “I AM Salvation”!


ESL H 3443 יֵשׁוּעַ [Yeshuwaʿ /yay·shoo·ah/] n pr m. Corresponding to 3442; GK 10336; AV translates as “Jeshua” once. 1 an exilic priest who returned with Zerubbabel. Additional Information: Jeshua = “he is saved”.

ESL H 3444 יְשׁוּעָה [yâshuwʿah /yesh·oo·aw/] n f. Passive participle of 3467; 78 occurrences; AV translates as “salvation” 65 times, “help” four times, “deliverance” three times, “health” three times, “save” once, “saving” once, and “welfare” once. 1 salvation, deliverance. 1a welfare, prosperity. 1b deliverance. 1c salvation (by Yeshua = יְשׁוּעָ֑ … … the…Elohe = אֱלֹהַי

I AM Salvation!


Messiah's last breath, He Roared His name: “Yeshua”! Fulfilling Psalms 22:1;… 


And then, John 19:31-37; continues the narrative, recording other prophetic scriptures being fulfilled.

Exodus 12:43–46 (NASB95) — 43 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the ordinance of the Passover: no foreigner is to eat of it; 44 but every man’s slave purchased with money, after you have circumcised him, then he may eat of it. 45 “A sojourner or a hired servant shall not eat of it. 46 “It is to be eaten in a single house; you are not to bring forth any of the flesh outside of the house, nor are you to break any bone of it.


Numbers 9:12 (NASB95) — 12 ‘They shall leave none of it until morning, nor break a bone of it; according to all the statute of the Passover they shall observe it.
