BORN AGAiN ?

The phrase, "Born Again" is perceived by most of Christianity to be a symbolic representation of their absolute assurance that they are already Saved through faith in their Jesus. But, the original Greek word, “Gennao” is incorrectly translated as, "Born." Gennao depicts active development with a beginning or origin similar to the conception of a human embryo that will continue maturing to the moment before birth. Gennao is similar to the English word generate and can portray the natural process of a germinating seed that grows in stages until it becomes a mature plant that is capable of producing fruit that bears seeds. Messiah Yeshua is called the “Seed of Abraham” and his sacrificial death becomes the planting of a seed that is resurrected to spiritually regenerate new life within His Faithful followers. The theme of planting and harvesting is a powerful metaphor of salvation and, "what a man sows he will reap."

Bearing the Light 
John 3:1; 2; Nicodemus' heart desired to know if the powerful words and miraculous signs of Yeshua represented the promise of Yehawah 's Messiah Savior. Nicodemus believed that the Spirit of Eloheyem was with Yeshua. Yeshua's response would shine the light of truth to guide Nicodemus along a path of scriptural mysteries.

Immanuel, a child is Born
John 3:3; Yeshua understood Nicodemus' longing for the restoration of Israel's kingdom through Yehawah's promise of a Messiah King. Nicodemus was a Pharisee and was dedicated to the instructions within covenant law and Temple service. The Holy Scriptures seemed to herald the appointed time was present for the Immanuel, " Yehawah Elohe to Tabernacle with His people." Yeshua's "Good News" echoed the prophets that were moved by the Spirit of Holiness. "You must be "Gennathe Anothe.” Both of these words express the sense of a new beginning with a divine origin, but is commonly mistranslated as born-again. Yeshua emphasizes that a renewal is necessary for a person to see the Kingdom.

Conception, in the beginning
John 3:1; 4; Nicodemus’ considered “ Gennethe Anothent” and understood that each human life begins at conception within a mother's womb and the spirit of life comes from Yehawah. Nicodemus was very familiar with Scripture and asked, "can  an old man enter a second time into his mother's womb and be Gennethenai = regenerated.”

Embryonic Waters of Life
John 3:5; Yeshua reminds Nicodemus of John the Baptist calling everyone to repent and be baptized for the removal of sin.

Nicodemus was acquainted with the ceremonial washings that allowed the high priest to enter the Holy Tabernacle of Yehawah Eloheyem's Shekinah glory. Truly truly, everyone must, "Gennethe" begin with water purification and Spiritual renewal to enter into the Kingdom of Yehawah. Just as Israel was baptized into Moses in the Red Sea and then 49 days later on Pentecost, Yehawah Eloheyem's Spirit of Holiness spoke into the hearts and minds of the children of Israel when they received the Covenant law at Mount Sinai. Now Yeshua was speaking the words of His Heavenly Father that would bring the light of Salvation that begins Spiritual Renewal for all of mankind.

Spiritual Seed
John 3:6; Just as flesh generates flesh, so also the Spirit generates spirit.
John 3:7; Nicodemus should not have been surprised that every person must receive the Spirit of Holiness to, "Genethenai Anothen" begin a renewed Spiritual Covenant union with Yehawah and be Freed from the Enslavement of Sin.
John 3:8; Ge 2:7; Jn 20:22; Both the Hebrew and the Greek words for breath or wind are also used to express spirit. Yeshua compares the Spirit of Holiness to the wind that breathes the life of renewal in the hearts and minds of everyone that listens to Yehawah's unchanging Words of Truth.

Covenant Renewal
John 3:9; Nicodemus's life was dedicated to obeying Yehawah's laws. He supported the priestly service that zealously honored Yehawah Eloheyem's Holiness. Performing sacrificial offerings provided a way for the Atonement renewal of Israel's covenant union. But now, Nicodemus'heart yearned for the merciful purification by the Spirit of Holiness that had cleansed David of his sin. Nicodemus' thoughts whispered, could this be the promised Messiah, answering the secret questions of my heart. So he asked, how can this be?

John 3:10-11; As the teacher of Israel, Nicodemus would learn that the priestly service of sacrificial works had not perfected Faith in Yehawah's Merciful promise of Covenant Renewal. Trusting in the sacrificial, "works of the Law" had become a empty substitution for Faithfulness. Yeshua reminds Nicodemus that the Spirit had also given testimony through the prophets when they proclaimed the, "Good News" of Yehawah's Covenant Renewal that would come through the pouring out of the Spirit of Holiness.
John 3:12; Yeshua use the terminology of earthly things to express Spiritual Truth that is hard for mankind to believe because it is Spiritually discerned.

The Living Word of Yehawah
John 3:13; Moses spoke of the Covenant restoration. The Eternal Yehawah Elohe is enthroned above the heavens and when He descended upon Mount Sinai His voice shook the earth.

 The words of Yeshua cause Nicodemus to tremble, as the veil covering his heart parted to let the glorious spiritual light of truth enter and Renew. This "Son of Man" is the I Am, who will shake the earth once again.

Only Begotten Son
John 3:14; Yeshua's death and resurrection to Eternal Life will prove he is the promised Messiah. John the Baptist proclaimed, "behold the Lamb of Yehawah who takes away the sin of the world." This is the Holy One who will baptize with the Spirit. The Spirit of Holiness will circumcise the heart and purify the mind of repentant worshipers for renewed Obedience to Yehawah's Covenant Law that produces Righteousness.

Genesis of Love
John 3:15; 16; 17; The name “Yeshua” means “Yehawah Saves.”  From the beginning, "Salvation" has been promised to the children of Adam and Eve. The Messiah’s Spirit of Truth would free mankind from their enslavement to sinful lawlessness by defeating the adversary Satan the father of lies. All who call upon Yehawah to be Saved must love Righteousness and reject sin and lawlessness. Yeshua said that he did not do away with the law and if a person desires to enter into Eternal Life they must keep Yehawah's Commandments. Nicodemus understood that Covenant Law represented a light the guided a worshiper of Yehawah Eloheyem through Faithful Obedience.

The written Oracles of the law and the prophets had not changed, but human tradition and pagan influence had darkened the hearts of many so that they could not see the light of life. Even the priestly ordinance of the sacrificial; "Works of the Law" became perverted.

The required offering of Holiness was replaced by the unclean sacrifice of a substitution scapegoat. Nicodemus' eyes were being opened to the Mistry of Holiness portrayed in the acceptable sacrifice of the sinless Lamb of Yehawah. The Spirit of Holiness in Messiah Yeshua became an example for worshipers to follow by making their lives and acceptable sacrifice of Faithful Obedience. Everyone that follows Messiah Yeshua's example will not remain under judgment, but are passing from death to life.

The Travail of Judgment
John 3:18;  Messiah Yeshua became the, "Only Begotten = μονογενής [ mon·og·en·ace ] ” Son of Yehawah the Father. To receive Salvation a person must be united in the Spirit of Holiness that is within Yeshua and be, "Gennethenai" regenerated before a disciple may enter Eternal Life in Yehawah Eloheyem's family. Only the righteous will enter in, but the wicked will die in their sins and be resurrected on the day of judgment.

John 3:19-20; Yehawah's judgment is just, because he forgives the sins of those who repent and turn away from lawlessness by learning to do what is right. But the wicked refused to come into the light, because they love sin and lawlessness and their deeds are evil.

Generating Holiness
John 3:21; 15:9; 10; 1 Jn 3:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; Everyone that loves the Son also loves the Father and purifies themselves from all unrighteousness. Messiah Yeshua said that the Heavenly Father loves Him because He keeps the Commandments. And if you love Yeshua you will also keep the Covenant Commandments of Yehawah. Nicodemus was learning that the gradual process of; "Gennethenai" regeneration by the Spirit of Holiness does not bring about immediate Salvation. Only a life of dedicated Obedience would produce the Fruits of Righteousness that is True Renewal of Yehawah's Covenant within the heart and mind of Faithful worshipers.

One of a Kind
ESL G 3439 μονογενής [monogenes /mon·og·en·ace/] adj.  Generally Translated, "Only Begotten"  The word  "mono genus”has two parts "mono = one" and "genus = kind or species"

 Messiah Yeshua became a  "one-of-a-kind" Genesis of a new Spiritual man. Messiah Yeshua is the only human to be conceived in a virgin by the Spirit of Holiness. Messiah Yeshua entered His physical creation by becoming flesh, but also retained Spiritual Oneness with His Heavenly Father.

The Eternal Oneness of Love that United the 2 Spirit beings in the Yehawah Eloheyem family has now been manifest to mankind as the, "Father and Only Begotten Son." 
[Heb 11:17; 18; 19; Isaac is also described as the, "Only Begotten = mono genus = יָחִיד " of Abraham, because Isaac was the child of promise and symbolically represented Messiah the Seed of Blessing. Sarah's son Isaac was born 14 years after Hagar gave birth to Abrahams first son Ishmael. Abraham's sexual sin with Hagar conceived Ishmael and symbolically portrayed the nation of Israel's unfaithfulness to the Sinai covenant. Abraham repented and received forgiveness from Yehawah and restoration to the, "Covenant Renewal" that look forward to the, "Promised Seed." Yehawah commanded Abraham to be blameless and teach Justice and Righteousness to his descendants. The Covenant Promise would be remembered from generation to generation with the sign of Circumcision. Later, Abraham's Faithfulness was tested when he offered Isaac as a sacrifice. Abraham Obeyed the Voice of Yehawah and taught the Commandments, Laws, and Statutes to his children, so that they would continue in the Covenant of blessings for obedience. Abraham learned that Obedience and Faithfulness is better than the Levitical Sacrificial, "Works of the Law"that were instituted 430 years later as a way for Israel to receive mercy.

Joy of Spiritual Renewal, Abraham's Laughter

Conception of Yehawah's Salvation
Psalms 22:9; 10; Even Yeshua, who existed eternally with Yehawah Eloheyem the Father, participated in a type of, "Gennethenai." The ( only Begotten = μονογενής [ mon·og·en·ace ] ) Son of Yehawah began a regeneration with a Spiritually Holy conception within the Virgin Mary. Yeshua entered into human flesh and learn to Trust and Obey His Heavenly Father's Commandments even to the point of dying on a cross.

Yeshua's baptism also symbolized His Obedient submission to the watery grave that demonstrates Faithful Hope in the promised Resurrection from death. There is hope of Eternal Life for everyone that loves Yehawah Eloheyem. Yeshua was resurrected through the unbreakable union with the Heavenly Father by the regeneration of the Spirit of Holiness.

Sewing the Seed of Life
ESL G 1080 γεννάω [gennao /ghen·nah·o/] Theologians misinterpret this Greek word by claiming that it means birth. Gennao is closely related to the idea of  1. Genesis = the beginning of life, 2. Generation = a growing process, as a seed or the beginning of a nation. 3. Generate = to come into being, as the beginning of a new creature or creation.

Patient Farmer and the Harvest of New Birth
Luke 1:57; 2:6; The term "Gennethenai"does not mean the same as being, "Born = Tekein." "Tekein" is the natural process of giving birth to a child. Misunderstanding of these two terms leads to theological error. A person may begin their regeneration through baptism and receiving the Spirit of Holiness to begin a new by the transforming of their heart in mind through Obedience to the Covenant Renewal. The gradual process of regeneration is intended to lead a person into a life of sacrificial Holiness. The regeneration of Renewal will be made complete at the time when Messiah Yeshua returns to resurrect the Faithful Saints that will serve in the Kingdom of Yehawah on earth. This is what Messiah meant when He told Nicodemus that he must participate in the "Gennathe Anothe”regeneration of renewal before he can enter the Kingdom through the resurrection that is the "Tekein" birth into Eternal Life. Messiah Yeshua is the, "prototokos = first born" of all creation and became the source of Eternal Life by His powerful resurrection from the dead.

First Fruit
ESL G 5088 τίκτω [tikto /tik·to/] To give birth, to bring forth from the womb, and to bear fruit.
ESL 4416 πρωτότοκος [prototokos /pro·tot·ok·os/] adj. From 4413 [proto = first] and the alternate of 5088 [tikto = born]; “firstborn”, “first begotten”.

Regeneration of the Mind
 1 Pe 1:3;  Praise be to the Father of our Lord Messiah Yeshua the Anointing, In His great Mercy has given us (ναγεννάω = regeneration; an active verb describing the Spiritual change occurring in the mind of believers that produces Faithful Obedience;

Regeneration is a gradual process of being transformed into the image and likeness of Messiah Yeshua. Regeneration begins with Baptism and receiving the Spirit of Holiness. Yeshua's Spirit, plants the Seed of Truth and the Love of Righteousness that produces living hope in believers so that they may look forward to participation in the future resurrection from the dead,

Heavenly Manna

The Father places His laws of life within the heart and mind of disciples to propagate Holiness in His children.

Pure Wine of the Covenant

The Theological Dictionary of the New Testament consideration of the Greek word,
 " ναγεννάω = regeneration."

[As the Old Testament and Jewish elements are very much alive in the gospel of New Testament apostles, so the origin of the thought of regeneration is to be sought in Judaism.

It is true that the Jews did not describe themselves or others as already regenerated.

Yet they hoped for a new life for the world and themselves, and they did not speak of this merely as resurrection or new creation, but also thought in terms of παλιγγενεσία and πάλιν γενέσθαι when speaking Greek. The thought of regeneration was adopted as an expression of their hope for the promised Messiah and Israel's Kingdom restoration.

 The Jews maintain the oracles of Yehawah Eloheyem's Covenant commandments and continued the sacrificial, "Works of the Law" as ordained for Temple worship, even though they were under Roman Imperial rule.  There was a great divide between Jewish and Hellenistic religion and culture. The Jews believed the Covenant union was maintained through the animal sacrifices and the sign of circumcision. The Jewish religious leaders and teachers of the law often expanded and distorted Yehawah's Covenant commandments during the 434 years when the Spirit of Holiness remain silent as they waited for the promised Messiah.

 The ancient religious mysticism that was adopted by Greek Hellenistic culture originated in Babylon. The Hellenistic belief in the immortal soul and Hades that was ruled by the God of the underworld, had influence many Jews to disregard the hope of the resurrection of the dead.

The priestly ritual of sacrificial, "Works of the Law" became and empty  cover-up to ignore the prophetic warnings of Yehawah's judgment against those who violate the Covenant Commandments.
 Modern Christianity derives most of its doctrinal beliefs from the Babylonian Mysteries that distort Yehawah's prophetic, "Good News" of Messiah's Kingdom that will Restore all things. Christianity believe that they are already, "Born Again = regenerated" even though they teach disobedience to Yahweh's Covenant Commandments. The Roman universal religion called Catholicism established itself as the kingdom of God on earth and declared that the Pope as authority to change Yehawah's laws and violate the Holy Sabbath commandment.

 Christianity promotes sinful lawlessness and has not elevated their followers to Love Yehawah Eloheyem by keeping His Commandments. Followers of Yeshua are being regenerated through the purifying work of the Spirit of Holiness and have hope in the future resurrection of the righteous at Messiah Yeshua's return. The pouring out of Messiah Yeshua’s Spirit began the regeneration of the minds of faithful followers. This is the, "Good News" proclaimed by the prophets and anticipated as the hope for the nation of Israel. The pouring out of the Spirit of Holiness on Pentecost began Yehawah's Covenant Renewal by writing the Eternal Laws within the hearts and minds of True worshipers.
 Yehawah Eloheyem’s Mercy and Forgiveness is restoring mankind to His Covenant union through Messiah Yeshua the Living Word and Shepherd of Salvation. Believers were now linked with the risen Lord by His Spirit. They had tasted the powers of the future, "age to come.”

 Sadly most of mankind resist the regenerating = παλιγγενεσία work of the Spirit, just as Israel refused to listen to the voice of Yehawah Elohe speaking the covenant laws at Mount Sinai.

Covenant Renewal and the Allegory of 2 Seeds
Galatians 4:19; The apostle Paul was in travail like a woman giving birth to children. Paul compares his labor pain as if it were a longing to see the Spirit of Messiah Yeshua completely formed in Faithful disciples.
Ga 4:20; 21; Paul uses the term, "Under the Law" as a reference to the sacrificial, "Works of the Law" that were instituted 430 years after the original covenant of promise was given to Abraham. The sacrificial, "Works of the Law" were performed by the Levitical priesthood as a way for the Israelites to receive Mercy and Forgiveness that allowed them to remain in the covenant union with Yehawah Eloheyem. 
In Hebrews 10:1; 2; 3; 4; Paul explains that the animal sacrifices did not free the worshipers from sin, but remained as a continual reminder of their disobedience.

Ga 4:22; 23; Paul allegorically contrasts the "
γεννηθες = conception by the flesh" does not refer to birth. Ishmael's conception came by the flesh, but Isaac's "conception" occurred because of the promise.
Ga 4:24; 25; Paul compares Hager to the Mount Sinai covenant that instituted the Levitical sacrificial, "Works of the Law" that did not free the children of Israel from sin. But, Sarah is compared to the covenant renewal through Messiah Yeshua that will free faithful worshipers from sin By the power of the Spirit of Holiness.
Ga 4:29; Paul quotes Isaiah 54:1; that symbolically portrays the barren woman giving birth to Zion and the Promised future Kingdom of Yahweh on earth. Paul continues to state that children that are only "conceived" through fleshly intercourse will persecute the children that are "conceived" by the Spirit of Holiness.
Ga 4:26; 27; 28; Messiah Yeshua will return and establish the kingdom of Yehawah on earth and restore Zion. The New Jerusalem that will descend from heaven symbolically represents a woman giving birth to the children of Yehawah.

Tree of Life
Luke 20:35; 36; 37; 38; The Trumpeting voice of Yehawah Elohe will shake the heavens and earth. As, Messiah Yeshua returns in the clouds and sends His angels to gather the Chosen Ones. Then the Saints that are dusty memories in the waterless grave will experience "New Birth" in the Resurrection of the Righteous as they ascend to join the glorious procession of the Savior King. The Faithful Saints have hope of being worthy to participate in the Resurrection of Renewal and are prepared to serve in the Kingdom of Yehawah Eloheyem on earth. The Resurrected Saints will be transformed into immortal spirit beings like the Angels. Messiah Yeshua explains that Yehawah Eloheyem the Eternal Father has not forgotten Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, even though they are dead, they will live again and become Eternal sons in the Eloheyem family.
