The Day of Atonement sacrifice is a prophetic portrayal of Messiah’s Holiness, that is required for Cleansing and the Purging of all Sinful Lawlessness.

The sacrificial offering is presented, when a person is convicted of their guilt. 

1 Jn 1:9; 10; 2 Cor 7:9; 10; 11; 10:5; 6;Becoming aware of their sin, is the acknowledgment of negligent disobedience to Covenant Law. The guilty person must present the required acceptable animal before the priest, at the outer door of the tabernacle. Then, the guilty person places their hands on the head of the required acceptable offering. 

Lev 5:8; 9;As the priest carefully cuts the single main artery to the animal’s brain. No sin is ever verbally pronounced or symbolically transferred to the pure and acceptable offering. The Laying on of hands, only reveal a personal acknowledgment of guilt that motivated the desire to present an acceptable offering, meeting the requirement to remain within Covenant with Yehwah. Also, the laying on of Hands may reveal the true heart of a person, that must intimately sense the life of the animal being poured out.

Covenant Renewal


Jer 31:31; 32; 33; 34;The sacrificial system prophetically looks forward to the Covenant Renewal, within the heart and mind of everyone that will receive the Spirit of Holiness.

Eze 11:19; 20; 36:25; 26; 27;Yehwah Elohe desires to remove mankind’s heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Hopefully mankind will learn, to Love the Covenant Law, that establishes Justice and offers Merciful restoration for all people.

Holy Sacrificial Blood


Ex 29:1; 2; 3; 32; 33; 34; 35; 36; 37; 38; The priest is required to present only pure and acceptable sacrifices to Yehwah. No sacrifice may symbolically represent sin. The blood and all sacrifices become Holy. The blood is sprinkled on and poured out before the altar, that is outside  the curtain of the Most Holy tabernacle of the Covenant Arc.

One Day of Atonement


Lev 16:2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; 15; 16; 17; 18; 19; 20; 21; 22; 23; 24;Only once a year, the high priest is allowed to bring the Holy sacrificial blood, behind the curtain, that veils the Most Holy inner Tabernacle. The high priest enters the Most Holy Place on Atonement and sprinkles the pure and acceptable sacrificial blood upon the Mercy Seat on top of the Covenant Arc. The sanctified blood of the pure acceptable offering, represents Messiah’s Spiritual Life of Holiness that is poured out, for the cleansing and purification of worshipers. The Atonement Mercy, portrays Salvation that restores Spiritual Oneness, for Yehwah Elohe’s Covenant people. The Atonement sanctified blood, represents Spiritual Holiness, that cleanses and purges sinful lawlessness.

Yehwah’s Ram and Conviction of Sin


Leviticus 16:7; 8; 9; 10; Portrays two rams being presented before the high priest on the Day of Atonement. The high priest will cast lots, to determine which ram will be presented to Yehwah. The first ram, symbolically represents Messiah’s Holy sacrificial offering. The unworthy ram is identified as (AzEzel = the cast out one) that represents Satan the source and cause of human sinfulness.


Leviticus 16:7–10 (corrected text) — 7 “He shall take the two goats and present them before the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting. 8 “Aaron shall (cast lots: may be better expressed as Yehwah revealing the prophetic destiny of each goat)  for the two goats, one (lot = destiny) for the Lord and the other (lot = destiny) for the (AzEzel or scapegoat?). 9 “Then Aaron shall offer the goat on which the (lot = destiny) for the Lord fell, and present it as a “Conviction of Sin”. 10 “But the goat on which the (lot = destiny) for the (AzEzel or scapegoat?) fell shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make “Atonement”, by “Casting it Out” into the wilderness as the (AzEzel does not mean: scapegoat).

Isaiah 53:1–8 (NASB95) — 1 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of Yehwah been revealed? 2 For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. 3 He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely our griefs He Himself “bore = נָשָׂא  = lifted up" , And our sorrows He “carried  = סָבַל“ ; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But He was pierced through “because of” our transgressions, He was crushed “because of” our iniquities; The "Discipline = 

 " of Peace is within Him, And by "Wounds = חַבּוּרָה ” or “so that within joining, Marks = “וּבַחֲבֻרָת"   we are healed. 6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; and Yehwah “encountered” within himself !” All our iniquities.  7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth. 8 By oppression of  injustice He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off out of the land of the living For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due?

[Isa 53:1-2; Who has understood the strength of Yehwah's Seed. The Messiah is the planting of Yehawah’s Spiritual Life in the dry ground of human hearts. Yeshua was not attractive or popular and did not seek to please the socially accepted idols of his time. 

Isa 53:3; 4; Mt 8:16; 17; Messiah Yeshua was despised and rejected by the people that claim to know Yehwah, but did not know Him. Messiah Yeshua, mercifully reached out to heal the spiritual sickness of Israel and suffered sorrows because of their unrepentant sinfulness. The people even considered that the Messiah was being punished by Yehwah, because Yeshua, “bore = נָשָׂא  = lifted up" our sorrows and, "carried = סָבַל“ our grief.

Isa 53:5; Heb 12:2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 10; 11; Yeshua was pierced (because of) our lawlessness and crushed (because of) our injustice.

The, "Discipline" of Peace is within Him and through (wounds He? Or so that within joining Him!) heals us.

Isa 53:6; 7; 1 Pe 2:19; 20; 21; 22; 23; 24; 25; 5:8; 9; 10; Ro 8:16; 17; 18; 2 Thes 1:5; 2 Ti 1:8;Jas 5:10;  All of mankind are like sheep wandering in the, "Wilderness of Sin." The term, “Bore our Sin" refers to Yeshua suffering the cruelty of sinful and lawless people that violently rejected him. Yeshua lived a life of perfect Holiness and became the, "Good Shepherd" who laid down His life for the sheep. Yeshua's Perfect Obedience became an example of Righteousness and holiness for His disciples to follow. Disciples hearts and minds are healed as they learn obedience through suffering as they resist sin and learn Righteousness that leads to Holiness and Peace.

Isa 53:8; Jn 11:47; 48; 49; 50; 51; 52; 53; Mk 14:61; 62; 63; 64; Ro 3:15-18; The Jewish people of Messiah's generation unjustly condemned Yeshua and violently crucified the promised Savior. The high priest considered Yeshua worthy of death because He claim to be the Christ the Son of Yehwah. The priesthood had corrupted their understanding of the Holiness of Sacrificial offerings. The high priest ordained the murder of Yehwah's, "Sinless Lamb" as a lawless attempt to cover up their sins with a scapegoat sacrifice. Even to this day, unrepentant religious leaders teach that Messiah Yeshua became a, "Scape Goat" and was cut off from the Heavenly Father. ]

Messiah Yeshua suffered the injustice of sinful and lawless mankind. Yeshua did not, "become our sins" and was not a type of, "sin bearing scapegoat."}

{In Isaiah 53:5; ESL H 4148 מוּסָר [muwcar /m muscleoo·sawr/] translates as “instruction” 30 times, “correction”, “chasten”, “chastisement”, “bond”  “discipline”.


                           ESL H 2249 חָבֹור [Chabowr /khaw·bore/] n pr loc. From 2266; Three occurrences; AV translates as “Habor” three times. 1: Habor = “joining”.

(In Isaiah 53:5; the Hebrew word “וּבַחֲבֻרָת" contains the Hebrew suffix letter “ת” representing the pronoun you or a sign marking “so that within joining” in suffering, then thes disciples participate within the sacrifice, through obedience, leading towards “healing” and towards the inheritance of Eternal Life.
