The lovingkindness and mercy of Yehawah is spiritual food to nourish the hearts and minds of believers and strengthens their faith to follow Messiah Yeshua's example of obedience.

The apostle Paul warned that the deceptive cultural practices of Jewish leaders and the Hellenistic influences of Greek philosophies would devise many false perceptions of self justification. Jewish religious leaders devised extensive practices of fasting and washings to demonstrate their spiritual cleanliness. Greek philosophy developed Stoic and Asceticism and apposing Epicurean ideals. A person's moral beliefs may be shaped by peer pressure and the cultural acceptance of self deluding Sophistry.
(Jn 8:42-43; 44; 45; 46-47; 1 Cor 10:14; 18-19; 20; 21; 2 Thes 2:7; 8; 9; 10; 11-12; 13; Heb 1:1-2; 3; 4; 5-6; 7-8; 9; 10; 11-12; 13-14; 1 Tim 4:1-2; 3; 4; 5-6; 7-8; Col 3:1-2; 3-4; 5-6; 7-8; 9-10; ) Demonic deceptions promoted the worship of idols and rebellion against Yehawah's Eternal laws. (Acts 15:20; 21; ) The apostle Paul practiced an obedient respect for Yehawah's sanitary health laws and the clean and unclean food laws taught by Messiah Yeshua and His disciples. The clean food laws existed from the time of Adam to Noah and were practiced by Abraham and taught by Moses. The True knowledge of Yehawah's clean food law instructs believers in the Eternal's word that sanctifies everything that is appropriate for food. Faith is based on the written Word of Yehawah and disciples are thankful for the Heavenly Father's loving guidance.
(1 Ti 4:1-2; 3; 4-5; 6; ) From the beginning Yehawah identified the lawful and clean foods for mankind to eat. In (Ro 14:3; 1 Ti 4:3; ) Paul teaches that some believers have the knowledge that they may eat lawfully clean animals for food; while vegetarians may be hesitant to eat the lawfully clean animals.
(Ro 14:2; 15-16; 17-18; 19-20; 21; 1 Ti 4:7; 8; 2 Ti 3:16; 4:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; ) Paul encountered many distorted cultural practices based on the fear of the unknown origin of disease and the deceptive practice of mysticism and magic arts. Eating unclean animals increases health risks and spreads disease. Vegetarians fear of eating animal flesh may come from health concerns or from a religious worship of creatures. Other Stoic or Ascetic practices perceived self-restraint as a healthy alternative to the Epicurean pleasures. Religious Jews proclaimed their righteousness through fasting and multiple washing ceremonies. Outward cleanliness and restrictive dietary habits did not restrain sexual immorality and many other violations of the Eternal's laws.

• Marriage & Divorce?
(Mt 5:31; 32; 19:3; 4-5; 6-7; 8; 9; ) Messiah Yeshua taught the governing authority of the Heavenly Father over the marriage union between one man and one woman that began in Genesis 2:23-24.
• Washing or Food Laws?
(Deut 8:3; Mt 4:3-4; 15:1-2; 3; 7-9; 11; 16-17; 18-19; 20) Messiah Yeshua taught that eating bread or grain (a lawfully clean food) with unwashed hands does not defile the heart (mind or spirit). Messiah Yeshua correctly explained that any dirt that enters the digestive system would pass out in the excrement. Messiah Yeshua exposed the hypocrisy and deceitfulness of sin hidden within the lawless hearts and minds of the Pharisees. The same story is recorded in the Gospel of Mark 7:1-2; 3; 4; 5; 9; 13; 18; 19; but the statement, "Jesus; declared all foods clean", was added by translators intending to deceive people into the acceptance of eating unclean animals in violation of the Eternal's laws. Messiah Yeshua followed Mosaic law when He rightly judged the temporary physical uncleanness from eating with unwashed hands is NOT as serious as uncleanness of deliberate disobedience to the spiritual law from a sinful heart.

When Messiah Yeshua said, "it is finished", He put an end to the Levitical priesthood's required animal sacrifices and removed the teachers of the law, Pharisees and Sadducees from being judges of the people. Messiah Yeshua has become High Priest forever as a continuation of Melchizedek.

• Mary & Joseph and their children

(Lk 2:34; 35; ) Mary's heart was also pierced by the death of her son. Everyone hoped the Messiah would restore the kingdom of Israel and free them from enslavement to the Romam empire. Messiah Yeshua came to free people from enslavement to Satan's antichrist government and spiritual deception.
