SACRIFICE a WORK of FAITH

Romans 3:1-2 The 1st born birth-right blessing of Jacob was given to Judah.

Justice, Mercy and Faith

Romans 8:3; 4; 5; 6; The Eternal Logos declares the faithfulness of the Heavenly Father's love toward those who love Him and keep His commandments. The Eternal's righteous judgment consists of mercy for repentant sinners or just punishment upon the wicked and lawless. (Ex 20:5; 6)

Messiah Yeshua revealed true love and His desire to restore mankind to a right relationship with the Heavenly Father by sharing His Holy Spirit with repentant believers.

Works of the Law ?    SACRIFICE a WORK of FAITH


Romans 3:27-28 NASB; Ro 3:29-30; 31; Heb 11:6; 
Ro 10:17; 14; 15-16; Isa 53:1; 2;3; 4;   Only Messiah Yeshua lived a perfect sinless life and obediently kept His Heavenly Father's commandments. Messiah Yeshua is righteous when he judges human sinfulness and just when the shows mercy. 
(Ro 3:20NASB; Ro 3:21; 22; 23-24; 25; 26) Humans cannot boast that they have not transgressed the Eternal's righteous laws. Logos Yehawah the Messiah wrote 10 foundational Commandments and gave them to Moses for the nation of Israel. Most of the commandments are, “thou shall not–laws” and do NOT represent works.  The 4th commandment, “keep Holy the Sabbath” is a promised  future rest from works. The Sabbath was established on the 7th day when the Heavenly Father and logos rested from their work of renewing their creation. Messiah's future Kingdom on earth will reconcile mankind to the Heavenly Father and restore the Sabbath rest.

Sacrifice of Covering

Genesis 3:21; 22;  Logos performed the 1st animal sacrificed to make coverings for Adam and Eve's nakedness.

Psa 132:13-14; 15-16; Isa 52:1; 2; 7; 8; 10; 11) Adam and Eve's sin revealed their spiritual emptiness as they struggled to discern the difference between good and evil. Logos promised that a future seed of a woman would crush the head of Satan and remove the spirit of lies and deception that tempts people into sin.

Only Logos' words of truth and restorative loving kindness would clothe spiritual nakedness by removing the unfaithfulness of a sinful heart.

Genesis 4: 3-4; Logos established the appointed time for remembering the sacrifice that covers our sins with the mercy and forgiveness of the Eternal's faithful love. Genesis records Abel's offering an acceptable sacrifice of remembrance. Noah and Abraham also presented thank offerings and sacrifices at the appointed time. These sacrifices are examples of required “works of the law." The appointed time is an opportunity to grow in faith and draw close to Logos the Eternal by presenting an acceptable sacrifice.

Sacrifice of Faith

Offering the required sacrifice symbolizes a person's willingness to become like "Logos the Holy One" that covers them with His mercy, forgiveness, and lovingkindness.

The Seed of Faith

Genesis 12:1-2; 3; Abram's journey of faith began when he trusted the words of the Eternal Logos, “I will make Abram a great nation–and all people on earth will be blessed through him.” Abram walk through the Promised Land and came to the great Oaks of Moreh, which means teacher. The Eternal Logos appeared to Abram and reaffirmed the vision of a future land inheritance. 
(Ge 12:6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 13:3-4; 14-15; 16-17; 18) Abram built altars of remembrance at Moreh and Bethel dedicated to the Eternal "Yehawah" Logos.
  
For 10 years Abram's heart yearned to dwell in the approval of the Eternal as he patiently sojourned as an alien in the land of promise.  Logos rescued Abram and Sarii from a dangerous Pharaoh and revealed the Eternal's faithfulness by providing abundantly for Abram's accompaniment. Abram's faith grew with spiritual insight as he walked with Logos the teacher of Living Truth.

The Tithe that Binds

Genesis 14:17; 18; 19; 20; Abram trusted the Most High “El alyone” to give him victory over the 4 Kings that had captured Lot. After the victory, Abram returned to the Valley of Shawah “which means; to become alike”. Melchizedek gave bread and wine to Abram and blessed him.

1Corinthians 13:2; 3; 4-5; 6-7; 8-9; 10-11; 12-13  Abram's faith grew as he courageously opposed evil and peacefully Tabernacle in the lovingkindness of Logos “Melchizedek".  
(Pr 8:1-3; 4-6; 7-9; 10-12; 13-15; 16-18; 19-21; 22-23; Heb 11:8-9; 10;Mt 5:20; Eph 3:14-15; 16-17; 18-19; 20; Php 4:4-5; 6-7; Je 33:11) Abram did not covet the wealth of his neighbors, instead he looked forward to the promised land and future kingdom of righteousness. Abram began the good “Work by offering a Tithe” of Thanksgiving to the Eternal Yehawah. Tithing continues to be a “Work of Faithful obedience”.

Love is a Shield  and Reward (Heb 11:6)

Genesis 15:1; 2; 3-4; 5-6;  The words of Logos strengthen Abram's faith and he believed that his descendants would become a great multitude and inherit the promised land. 
(Ge 15:7-8; 9; Ro 4:13; 14; Heb 11:8-9; 10) On the appointed Passover, Abram made a faithful sacrificial offering of obedience and received a prophetic vision. 
(Ge 15:12; 13; 14-15; 16; 17; 18; Ex 12:40-41) Logos' covenant with Abram would become spiritual food for the future generations of Israel and a blessing for all mankind. 
(Psa 32:6-7; 8; 10-11; 40:1-2; 91:1-2; 4)

Cutting away Sin by Blood and Forgiveness

Genesis 16:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9-10; 11; 12; Abram's repentant heart reflected upon his sin of conceiving a son with Hagar. 
(Ge 2:24; Mt 19:4-5; 6; Mk 10:8; Eph 5:29-30; 31-32; 33; 1 Pe 3:5; 6; 7; 8; 9) Abram and Sarii love healed slowly during the years of attempting to mend broken hearts and the difficulties of raising Ishmael the disillusioned and angry son of Hagar.
Genesis 17:1-2; 3-5;9; 10; 11; 12 On the appointed day of Passover the Eternal Logos compassionately expressed concern for Abram and renewed their covenant relationship. 
(Psa 32:1-2; 5; 1 Jn 1:8-9) The sign of circumcision was added to the covenant as a painful reminder in blood of the forgiveness and mercy of of Logos.
 (Ro 3:27-28NASB; 4:1-2; 3-4; 5-6; 7-8; 9; 10; 11; 12; Psa 40:6-7; 8-9; 10; 11;16-17; 51:1-2; 3; 4-6; 7-8; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; 15; 16-17; 18-19;  Heb 8:10; 11; 12; 13; 9:7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 14; 15; 18; 22; 28; 10:1; 2; 4-5; 6-7; 8; 9; 10-11; 12; 13-15; 16-17) Circumcision in the flesh reminds Abram's descendents to be Holy in heart, mind, body and dedicated to faithful obedience to the Eternal Logos. The sign of circumcision is a type of, “Work in the Law”. 
(Ex 4:24-25; Dt 10:19; 30:2; 6; Jos 5:2; Je 4:4;  Ro 2:25; 26; 27; 28; 29; 3:1-2; 4:12; 1 Co 7:19; Ga 5:6; 6:15-16; Eph 2:4-5; 21-22; Php 3:3; Col 2:9-10; 11; 12; 13) The intent of circumcision reveals the importance of Love for the Eternal and love for your neighbor through obedience to the commandments. The covenant of Eternal Life is the True circumcision of heart within faithful believers by the Holy Spirit of Yehawah the Father.
 (Dt 6:4-5; 6-7; Isa 51:7; Pr 6:20-21; 22-23; Ro 8:12-13; 14-15; 16-17; 18-19; 20-21; 9:1-9; 12:1; 2; Col 3:5; 2Cor 5:19)

Promised Son

Genesis 17:15-16; 17-18; Ge 17:19NASB; Ge 17:20; 21-22; 23; 24-25  Logos promised Abraham that Sarah would give birth to a son at the appointed time of “Passover” next year. 
(Ge 18:14)Abraham and Sarah's son Isaac would restore laughter to their hearts. Melchizedek the Eternal Logos blessed Abraham and Sarah with a miraculous child of promise. Isaac would inherit Abraham's covenant relationship with the Eternal. A covenant relationship is Not, Unconditional. Abraham and Isaac were required to obey the Eternal's laws and teach their children a way of life that develops moral character and faithful trust in the Loving Kindness of Logos Melchizedek and the Heavenly Father.

Sacrifice is a Way to See Salvation

Genesis 18:14; The birth of Isaac added deeper insight into the Eternal's purpose for the Passover sacrifice. Abraham's sin with Hagar was forgiven and Logos' lovingkindness renewed the promised Seed of inheritance.
 (Ge 21:12; Ro 4:7-8; 16; 17; 18; 19; 20-21; 22-23; 24-25; 9:7; 8; 9; Heb 11:11; 12; 13; 14; 15; 16) Abraham and Isaac's bond of love grew as they faithfully trusted the promises of the Eternal Logos, “through Isaac shall your descendants be named”. 
 (Heb 11:17-18; 19) Abraham's faith perceived the Eternal's power to raise the dead when he was commanded to offer his beloved son Isaac as a Passover sacrifice. On Mount Mariah; Yehawah Logos chose to focus Abraham's heart intently into the future sacrifice of the promised Messiah Logos; seed of Abraham and Son of Eloheyem Yehawah the Father. 
Genesis 22:14 should be translated, "Abraham called this place, Yeh   {רָאָה : intently cause me to see} today on this mountain that Yeh { רָאָה : will be seen}.

Works of Faith

Genesis 22:2; Abraham faithfully obeyed the Eternal when he offered Isaac as a sacrifice and figuratively received this son back from the dead.
(Heb 11:19) The Eternal Logos ordained the required, “Works of the Law” before the time of Moses and the Exodus of Israel from their enslavement to sin. The required, “Works of the Law”, animal Sacrifices, Circumcision in the flesh, and the offering of Tithes are remembrances of Abrahams faithful obedience to the commands of Logos Melchizedek the Eternal. Abraham's faith grew as he trusted the words of Logos and believed the Eternal is faithful in keeping His Promises. Abraham disciplined his heart and mind through obedience and patiently anticipated receiving the goal of this faith, a son named Isaac, the promised land, and his eternal inheritance in the Kingdom of Melchizedek Logos. 
Genesis 3:11; 21; 22; 4:3-4; Heb 11:4; The required Sacrificial Works began after Adam and Eve sinned and the appointed time is a remembrance that Logos the Eternal is willing to forgive sin and restore His bond of love with repentant believers through faith in His covering of mercy and their renewed obedience to the Eternal Logos' Commandments. The essence of Love is Trust, Faith and Obedience. 
(Heb 11:6; 4; 8; 9) Obeying the Sacrificial “Works of the Law” symbolically is an offering of the heart and reveals the mind of believers as they desire to be restored to the knowledge of the Eternal's mercy and lovingkindness. 
(Ro 3:20NASB; Ro 3:21-22; 23-24; 25; 26; Ro 3:27-28NASB; Ga 3:19-20;  21) The required Sacrificial Works revealed the necessity of Faith and Obedience. The animal sacrifices, circumcision, and offering of tithes; are reminders of sin and did not make a person righteous. The Sacrificial offerings bring to remembrance the Eternal's forgiving of sin and His covering of lovingkindness that restores repentant believers to Faithful Obedience.

Dying to Sin; a Work of Life

Hebrews 11:16; 17; 18-19; By faith; Abraham look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the Good News of Melchizedek's kingdom of Peace. 
(Job 13:15-16; 19:25-26; 27; Psa 19:7-8; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14;  Mt 22:23; 29-30; 31-32; 33; Lk 20:27; 34-35; 36; 37; Isa 2:2-3; 9:6-7; 42:21) 
 Romans 5:12; Adam's sin brought death to all mankind; because all have sin by disobeying the Eternal's laws.
 (Ro 5:19; 21; 1Jn 3:4-5; 6-7; 8; 9; Jn 12:31; 16:11) The promised Messiah, seed of Abraham, would live a perfect, sinless life, and became an example of the required; “Sacrificial offering of Perfect Faithful Obedience to His Heavenly Father. 
(Dt 7:9; Jn 10:17-18; Heb 5:7; 8; 9-10; Ho 6:6-7; Mt 23:23) Messiah Yeshua the Eternal Logos replaced the required, “Work of Animal Sacrifice” with the required work of Faithful Obedience. 
(Ga 2:16NASB; Psa 51:16-17; Heb 10:4-5; 8; 9; 12-13; 14-15; 16-17; 18; Ro 3:22-23; 24; 25; 26;Messiah Yeshua continues Melchizedek's ministry by becoming the King of Righteousness and Prince of Piece. 
(Heb 1:1-2; 3; 8; 9; 13; 2:1-2; 3; 7; 8; 3:7; 12-13; 4:4; 9-10; 11; 12; 14; 15; 16)  Messiah Yeshua continues forever as High Priest and offers His Holy Spirit to the truly repentant believers that trust in His restorative justice, forgiveness, mercy and lovingkindness. 
(Psa 139:1-2; 7; 10; 16-17; 18; 23-24; Heb 7:14-15; 16-17; 24-25; 26) Repentant believers learn to follow Messiah Yeshua example of faithful obedience to the Heavenly Fathers commandments. Yeshua's death on the cross condemns the sinfulness of mankind for their rejection of the Holy Righteous Son of Eloheyem the Father. 
(Acts 2:22; 23; 24-25; 26-27; 28; 31-32; 33; 34; 35-36; 37; 38; Eph 1:13; Ro 8:2; 3; 4; 5; 6-7; 8-9; Heb 10:28; 29; 30-31; 32) Messiah Yeshua demonstrates His mercy by sharing His Holy Spirit with the repentant believers that are baptized into His death and begin the process of removing sinful desires and growing in faithful obedience to the Eternal's laws of Love. 
( Heb 9:27-28; Ro 5:9;18; 19; 20-21; 6:1-2; 3; 4; 10-11; 12; 13; 16; 17; 18; 8:4; 5; 6-7; 8-9; 15; 17; 29; 12:1; 2)  The goal of faith is to become like Melchizedek Messiah Yeshua by putting to death sin in the flesh and living a righteous life that is pleasing to the Heavenly Father.
 (Psa 51:1-2; 4; 6; 10-11; 12-13; 14; 19; Eph 5:1; Heb 10:22; 23-24; 26 1Jn 1:2; 3; 4-5; 6-7; 8-9; 5:17-18; 19-20) The way to Eternal Life is Love and Oneness in the Holy Spirit of Eloheyem the Father and Son.
(Jn 6:53-54; 55-56; 57-58; 61-62; 63-64; 65; 10:27-28; 29-30; 15:10-11; 12-13; 14; 17:2-3; 6-7; 11; 14; 17; 19; 1Jn 2:3-4; 5-6; 4:10-11; 12-13; 14-15; 16; 17; 18)

Saved by Grace?

Most of Christianity teaches that Jesus became their sins as he was dying on the cross. They also say that the heavenly father abandoned his son because he could not look upon the bearer of our sin and guilt. The heavenly father inflicted the punishment of rejection upon his son as a substitution scapegoat; instead of punishing sinful mankind. The wrath of the heavenly father was appeased by the death of his “sin filled” son. When Jesus said, “it is finished” he fulfilled the law for you so people do not have to obey that old law. Jesus paid; mankind's sin debt. Now everyone may receive the free gift of eternal life and the heavenly father's unconditional love. Christian doctrine states that if anyone believes this, “heretical teaching” they are saved by grace through faith.
