The Day of Atonement "Yom Kippur" reveals Mysteries of Yehawah Eloheyem's Merciful plan of Salvation. Spiritual Truth is hidden within symbolic sacrificial Covenant Law. Justice, Mercy, and Faithfulness are the keys that open the treasure of Lovingkindness and Redemptive At-One-ment.

atonement:

Messiah Yeshua identified obedient worship of Yehawah as a unifying love that is Oneness in Spirit and Truth.

The Atonement Sabbath of "Yom Kippurim, 

* Lev 23:28; 32;  Yehawah's commanded " Sacrificial Works" were required for cleansing and the removing of sin.   Spiritual Mysteries are portrayed in "Yom Kippurim",

Righteous Judgment,

 of the Atonement offering symbolically represents Yehawah's Merciful Forgiveness and willingness to cleanse mankind from sin.

 Messiah Yeshua:

 is the Perfect Sinless Atoning Sacrifice.  He offered His Life for the cleansing of mankind from their sins.

* Ro 6:16; 17; 18; 22; 23; 8:3; 4;  Idolatrous humans have attempted to appease wrathful god's with scapegoat sacrifices.  Messiah Yeshua's Atonement offering is not a substitution sacrifice. Yeshua did not become sin or pay the penalty of death in the place of sinful mankind.

 Blood of Messiah Yeshua is poured out for Cleansing and Renewing  the Covenant between Yehawah and His Worshipers.

an agreement.

• Law; a contract drawn up by deed.

• Law; a clause in a contract.

• Theology; an agreement that brings about a relationship of commitment between Yehawah and his people. The Jewish faith is based on the biblical covenants made with Abraham, Moses, and David. Goat (1) or Goat (2) ?

Leviticus 16:2;

 On Atonement Yehawah Eloheyem appears in a cloud above the  (Kaporet = Mercy seat) on top of the Ark of Covenant. The Kaporet symbolically represents the Heavenly throne of Eternal Yehawah above the Angelic wings of worshiping cherubim.


Leviticus 16:7; 8;

On the High Holy Sabbath day of Atonement, 2 seemingly identical Goats are presented before Yehawah. Only Yehawah understands which Goat will be the (1) representing an acceptable sacrifice for Atonement. The unacceptable Goat (2) is judged as the Azazel  Satan and must be "Cast Out".

* Lev 16:9; Goat (1)  is selected as Yehawah's pure sinless sacrificial Offering.

Lamb of Yehawah

Leviticus 16:15;

Goat (1) is sacrificed because the people failed to obey Yehawah's Laws and keep the Covenant Agreement. The Blood of Goat  (1) is sprinkled on the  Kaporet = Mercy Seat atop the Ark of the Covenant. 

* Ex 20:1-2; 3-4; 5; 6; 7-8; 9-10; 11;12-14; 15-16; 17; 18; 19-20; 21-22; 24:3; 7; 8; Israel entered into the Covenant agreement with Yehawah.

* Heb 9:19; 20; 21; 22; 10:29; 30; 31;  The Atoning Blood of the Covenant is poured out to cleanse and forgive.

*  Mk 1:4; 8; 14:22; 23; 24; The  lifeblood of Yeshua the Lamb of Yehawah is poured out so that mankind may receive the Spirit of Holiness to cleanse them from sin.

Leviticus 16:16;

Yehawah Eloheyem reveals His Merciful Reconciling Forgiveness on the High Holy Sabbath of Yom Kippur. The word Kippur or Kaphar is translated  =  "Atone"  by  "Cleansing". The "Qodesh = Holy Place"; is where Yehawah meets with His people Israel. Transgression of the Covenant laws have caused the people to become sinfully unclean.

On   "Yom Kippur Qodesh", Yehawah demonstrates His Mercy and willingness to restore repentant Israel to the Covenant bond of His Lovingkindness. The Qodesh is the Holy Place where Yehawah Tabernacles with His people. 

* Ro 10:16-17; 18; 19; 20-21; 11:11; 12; 15;  Israel failed to understand the Atoning, "Good News".

* Acts 17:27-28; 29-30; 31; Now all mankind will be called to repentance and offered At-One-ment.

Remember the Sabbath "Moed"

 Leviticus 16:15; 16; 

Atonement  "Kippur" must occur to  Cleanse the Tent of "Moed = Appointed Meeting" from the sins and uncleanness of the people. Yehawah Eloheyem ordained His "Moed" appointed Sabbath assemblies as sacred time for remembering His Redemptive Work of  Saving mankind from Azazel Satan the source of sin.

Only the High Priest may enter the tent of meeting to "Kaphar = Atone or Cleanse" the "Qodesh = Holy place". 

• Messiah Yeshua became the only High Priest in the order of Melchizedek who continues forever.

• Messiah Yeshua made His Life an acceptable Sacrifice of Faithful Obedience to His Heavenly Father and He became the Lamb of Yehawah. 

• Yeshua's death on a cross reveals the True Passover Lamb that, "Ransoms or Purchases" a people that are set apart to serve Yehawah.

  • The Feast of Unleavened bread portrays the Renewed Covenant with a people dedicated to remove the leavening of sin from their lives.

• The acceptable  Atonement sacrifice occurred when Messiah Yeshua became the Passover Lamb or Goat (1). The Azazel Satan Goat (2) must be Cast Out  to  Save mankind from the evil spirit that tempts people into sin.

High Priest Melchizedek

Leviticus 16:20;

• The high priest from the family of Aaron offered animal sacrifices that did not remove mankind's desire to sin. Yeshua's sinless sacrifice and resurrection from death proved that He is the Messiah Savior. Yeshua ascended to the right hand of the Father.  Yeshua is Holy One with the Father and remains High Priest Forever as Melchizedek Prince of Piece.

• Yeshua Faithfully Obeyed His Heavenly Father's Commandments and resisted Satan's temptation to sin. Yeshua received the promised Holy Spirit that is poured out to assist disciples as they learn to resist Satan's evil spirit. The Azazel Goat (2) represents Satan evil influence over mankind. Satan has motivated human religions to offer scapegoats to unjustly suffer the penalty of death for sins. An innocent person or animal would become a substitution sacrifice in the place of the guilty. 

• Yehawah Eloheyem  "Yom Kippur" Atonement justly condemns Satan as the Azazel Goat (2) that will be Cast Out.

Leviticus 16:21; 22;

The High Priest confesses the sins of all mankind and places the guilt on the head of the Azazel Satan Goat (2).  Satan is the source of sin. Satan is called the Dragon, Deceiver, and the Adversary that tempts people into sin. Satan will bear the guilt for all lawless rebellion against Yehawah's Righteous Commandments.  When Messiah Yeshua returns, then a strong angel will cast Satan into the bottomless pit for 1000 years. Satan's final End will be complete destruction in the lake of fire.

Azazel does NOT escape Judgement

(is misstranslated as scapegoat: Lev 16:8; 10;) 

Azazel: means ; to remove or cast out. Messiah Yeshua refers to Satan as the source of sin. 

(Jn 8:44; ) The Hebrew word: Azazel has been mistranslated by Theologians that wrongfully transpose the pagan practice of scapegoat sacrifices as an appeasement of god's wrath.  Through propitiation, pagans attempt to purchase favor from stone idols by unjustly executing an innocent person as a substitution sacrifice.

• Satan was originally named Lucifer the bringer of light. Lucifer was created perfect in wisdom and beauty; but, became corrupted by iniquity and violence.  Lucifer became the adversary Satan. Satan must be completely removed before mankind will be freed from the temptation to sin.

Fast: resist Evil & Love Righteousness

Leviticus 16:29;

The High Holy Sabbath of Atonement occurs in the seventh month on the 10th day of Yehawah's appointed "Moed"  commanded assemblies. All worshipers must humble themselves and fast during the 24-hour Yom Kippur. Fasting is an obedient act of self-denial and the commitment to put to death sinful desires. The Atonement fast is similar to baptism and participation in Messiah Yeshua's death.

Leviticus 16:30; 31;

The pouring out of Messiah Yeshua's life on Passover became the Atoning Lamb's sacrificial blood that cleanses the Kaporet Qodesh: Mercy seat atop the Ark of the Covenant.

Holy Sabbath "Moed" of Salvation: 

Yehawah's plan of salvation is revealed through the "Moed" assemblies of High Holy Sabbaths. Messiah Yeshua is the Passover Lamb and Unleavened Bread of Life; that became Spiritual food for Salvation.  The promise Holy Spirit is poured out on the Moed of  Pentecost and began cleansing the Tabernacle of  disciples hearts and minds. The Moed of Trumpets will sound Messiah's victorious arrival, the resurrection of the Saints, and the defeat of Satan's rebellious rule of mankind. The Moed of  Yom Kippur completes the Atoning Spiritual union of Messiah Yeshua with His Saints and the Casting Out of Satan. The Moed of  Tabernacle is fulfilled when Yehawah's Kingdom is established on earth. The Father promises to make His Kaporet Qodesh Holy meeting Place in the hearts of Faithfull Saints forever.

All of mankind will soon be set free from Satan's temptations to sin. 


Sacrificial Work

Leviticus 23:27; 28; 29; 30; 31;

The Hebrew word for (Kaphar = Atone, Reconcile, or Cleanse) that has many symbolic applications. An overall explanation of the Atoning sacrifice has 3 important parts. 

1. Yeshua is the perfect sinless offering that cleanses repentant sinners that have entered into the Covenant agreement.

2. Satan is Azazel, the source of sin that must be remove, Cast out.

3. Repentant sinners are required to fast; symbolically putting to death sinful disobedience. Repentant worshipers receive Yehawah's Mercy, the Spirit of Truth, and learn to make their lives a pleasing sacrifice as they follow Messiah Yeshua’s example of Faithful Obedience.

Atonement requires all 3 parts to be fulfilled to complete the work of Salvation in the Covenant people.

Hebrews 9:13;

The blood of Atonement animal sacrifices provided a way for Yehawah to demonstrate His Mercy and heal the sicknesses and uncleanness caused by sin.

The  Atonement blood ratified the renewal of Yehawah's Covenant bond with His people. Yehawah chose to draw near to His people through an act of Merciful Forgiveness.  A permanent Spiritual Cleansing of mankind from sin will require a Perfect Sacrificial Offering of  Atonement. Humanities desire to sin must be completely removed before Yehawah Eloheyem may Tabernacle Eternally  "At One" with His people.

 The required, "Works of the Law  = animal sacrifices" came to an end.

AT-ONE-MENT; 

The Cleansing of the (Kaporet Qodesh) Atoning Mercy seat represents the Holy place where Yehawah Tabernacles with His worshipers. The Kaporet covering is atop the Ark of the Covenant containing the 10 Commandments, jar of Mana, and Aron’s staff that budded.  The pouring out of Messiah Yeshua’s Spirit on Pentecost began the cleansing of the Tabernacle of worshipers hearts and minds, by writing the Law of the Covenant in them. Messiah Yeshua is the Bread of Life and the Spiritual Shepard that leads worshipers to True Oneness with the Father that is Eternal Life. The Day of Kaporet Qodesh  portrays the future return of Messiah Yeshua. When He resurrects the Faithful Obedient disciples to their reward of Eternal Life. Then the Casting out of Satan will occur as the Kingdom of Messiah begins on earth. Eternal Life is a Covenant agreement that unites worshipers in the Spirit of Kaporet Qodesh Holy Oneness with the Heavenly Father and Son. “At-One-ment”

* an atoning sacrifice (nrsv, niv, reb), 

* expiation (rsv, nab, njb), 

* propitiation (kjv, nkjv, asv, nasb), 

* the remedy for defilement (neb),

* expiationn; is the attempt to pay back a debt or compensate someone being harmed;

• propitiation; is the attempt to appease wrath or alter justice by changing the mind of someone in authority. 

 Theologians do not perceive the mind of Yehawah or understand True Atonement. The Father and Son are perfectly in agreement and do not change their requirements for, 

* Mt 23:23; 9:13; Hos 6:5; 6; 7; Justice, Mercy, and Faithfulness. 

The True purpose of Atonement is to Renew the Covenant agreement between Yehawah and His worshipers. Yehawah's Lovingkindness is revealed through His Mercy and Atoning restoration; this is the true meaning of the Greek word; hilasmos.


Babylonian Mysteries

 Modern Christianity does not understand the origin of its pagan mysteries of, "Scapegoat idolatry". Christianity believes that their Jesus became their sins and paid their sin debt. Christianity believes that their Jesus appease the wrath of their god and suffered rejection while dying on the cross as a substitution sacrifice.

Restoring the Israel of Yehawah

• The nation of Israel also fell into pagan beliefs and rituals,

* Da 7:27; Mk 1:24; 25; 26; Acts 5:30; 31; 32; Messiah Yeshua is perfectly One in Spirit with the Father. Messiah the Savior will establish Yehawah's Kingdom on earth and "Cast Out" Satan from tempting mankind into sin. 

* Heb 2:11; 14; 17; 18; 5:7; 8; 9; 10; 9:20; 21; 22; 23; 24; 10:1; 2; 3-4; 5-6; 7; 8; 9; 15; 16; 17; Jn 14:6; Messiah Yeshua is the Way, Truth, and Life that leads to At- One- Ment with the Father.

I would like to deal with the term scapegoat that comes from:

Leviticus 16:8; 10; 26; which is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word, Azazel = Cast out One. Translators used the word scapegoat to promote a false doctrine that comes from pagan idolatry. Historical records contain sufficient information to identify the idolatrous practice of pagan scapegoat offerings. When theologians examine Scripture they transpose their pagan doctrines onto Scriptures that they do not understand because they are led by the spirit of falsehood. 


It is important to examine Leviticus 16:8; and the difference between the two goats that are presented to Yahweh. The two goats are seemingly identical to mankind; but symbolically Yahweh knows which goat will be an acceptable sacrifice that represents Messiah Yeshua sinless offering. The high priest Aaron does not place any sin on the acceptable sacrifice. The blood of the Atonement sacrifice is taken into the most holy place and sprinkled on the Mercy covering and Ark of the Covenant. The acceptable Atonement blood provides a way for Yahweh to forgive and cleanse worshipers from their uncleanness and sin. This symbolism portrays Messiah Yeshua sinless sacrificial death and resurrection and entering the Most Holy place in the Heavenly presence of the Father. Messiah Yeshua is the sinless Lamb of Yahweh.

(Heb 1:3; 5:9; 7:25; 26; 28; 9:11; 12; 13; 14; Acts 5:31; 32; Removes Sin)


Messiah Yeshua did not carry sin into heaven; but Scripture states that Messiah Yeshua received the promised Spirit of Holiness that was poured out on Pentecost. The pouring out of the Spirit follows the pattern of Aaron carrying the sacrificial blood outside the Most Holy place and sprinkling the Atonement blood on the alter represents Israelite worshipers being cleansed from their uncleanness and sins. Messiah Yeshua disciples that received the gift of the Spirit of Holiness are receiving the Spirit of truth for purging or cleansing from all sin and unrighteousness. On the Day of Atonement; worshipers are required to fast, which symbolizes self-denial and an act of repentance from sin. This would agree with  1 John 1:9; confess your sins and He is just and merciful and will forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness. 


The remaining Azazel goat is presented alive before Yahweh. The high priest Aaron must confess the sins of Israel and place them on the head of the goat representing Azazel ; that portrays Satan receiving the guilt for all mankind sins upon his head and then Satan is, “Cast Out”. The casting out of Satan is necessary for the completion of Yahweh’s Atonement cleansing of His people Israel and for purification from every source that causes sin. 


In, 1 John 2:2 NASB; 1 Jn 4:10 NASB; the word propitiation is chosen by theologians for the express purpose of transmitting their doctrinal beliefs that identify with the meaning of this word. Propitiation is a pagan practice of appeasing the wrath of god’s through pagan scapegoat sacrificial offerings. The word propitiation does not relate in any way to the original Greek word that is used in John. My blog post explains in more detail; but generally the term John uses is an exact reference to Exodus 20:6; that identifies Yahweh’s Lovingkindness that is shown to those who keep His Covenant commandments. The word lovingkindness in Hebrew is an expression of Yahweh’s mercy that He shows to the truly repentant and contrite in heart. It is Yahweh’s nature to be just and merciful; as David states in the Psalms. 

In 1 John 2:2; 4:10; the word, “Atonement” should be used because it relates to Leviticus 16 and Yom Kippur. It may be hard to accept that the word Kippur does not mean to cover; but is used as a term for cleansing or purging. The Atonement blood was for cleansing the people from their uncleanness and for purging sin. Only the pure sinless sacrifice of Messiah Yeshua could provide a way for the people to receive His Spirit of Holiness to cleanse and purge sin from truly repentant worshipers of Yahweh.


In Hebrews 9:18; 19; 20; 21; 22; 23; 24; the apostle Paul connects Messiah Yeshua’s pure sinless sacrificial offering to 3 important events 

1. the blood of the Passover Lamb that set apart Israel as the covenant people of Yahweh. 

2. Moses offered a sacrifice at Mount Sinai and sprinkled the blood on the covenant and the people as a sign of Israel agreeing to obey Yahweh and keep his commandments. The blood of the covenant also symbolized Yahweh’s mercy and forgiveness of past sins. Messiah Yeshua combines both the Passover lambs blood with the Mount Sinai covenant agreement. 

3. In Hebrews Paul continues to show that Messiah Yeshua’s pure sinless sacrifice is the Atonement offering to Yahweh the Heavenly Father that is necessary to completely purge sin from worshipers through the outpouring of the Spirit of Holiness that is portrayed by Messiah Yeshua’s lifeblood. When truly repentant worshipers of Yahweh received the Spirit of Holiness to cleanse them from sin. They are also entering into the covenant agreement to obey Yahweh’s commandments and follow Messiah Yeshua by making their lives a sacrifice of obedience that is pleasing and acceptable to the Heavenly Father.

Careful examination of these three sacrifices showed that absolutely, “No Sin is placed on the sacrificial offerings”. There is no propitiation or appeasement of wrath. What is occurring is Yahweh showing mercy, forgiveness, and restoration of repentant worshipers to His Covenant agreement. Messiah Yeshua said this is the New Covenant in my blood. 

In Hebrews 10:15; 16; 17; shows the covenant law will be written in the mind and on the heart of worshipers and their past sins will be forgiven.

I have more thoughts on the deceptive idolatry of scapegoat propitiation. Remember the seemingly two identical  goats that are presented on Atonement. Here is a perspective; there appears to be too divergent views of what is acceptable to Yahweh. Most of Christianity believes that Messiah Yeshua is represented by the scapegoat. The act of scapegoat propitiation means that an innocent person receives the punishment that the guilty parties deserve. Christianity teaches that Messiah Yeshua became your sins and suffer the wrath of god by being rejected and becoming a substitution sacrifice by dying in your place and paying your sin debt. But Scripture says that everyone shall die for their own sins and that sin cannot be passed from one person to an innocent party. Scapegoat idolatry is in direct opposition to Yahweh’s laws that require:

 (Dt 24:16-17; Eze 18:20-21; 22-23; 24-25; 26-27; 28-29; 30-31; 32; justice).


Scapegoat idolatry is the worship of Satan’s lawless injustice.

 (John 8:42; 43; 44; 45; 46; 47; ) The injustice was being carried out by the Pharisees. Yeshua Was unjustly condemned to death for saying that he is the Messiah Holy One. Messiah Yeshua told the Pharisees that they would die in their sins unless they believed that he is the Messiah. Yeshua was unjustly murdered; but his resurrection to Eternal Life proved that he is the Messiah Holy One. The people rejected the Messiah Holy One; but the Heavenly Father vindicated his Son and said sit at my right hand until I make your enemies of footstool beneath your feet. It does not appear from Scripture that the Pharisees attempt at using Messiah as a substitution sacrifice worked to appease the wrath of the Father and Scapegoat idolatry does not work for Christianity either.

 Messiah Yeshua is offering to renew the covenant agreement with his sinless sacrificial Atonement blood. Messiah Yeshua offers Mercy and forgiveness to everyone that truly repents of their sins and turns to obey the Covenant Commandments. Messiah Yeshua said if you love me keep my commandments and you will remain in my love. Just as Messiah has kept hIs Father’s commandments and remain in his love.

So; it is important to discern the difference between the two goats presented before Yahweh. One goat represents true Atonement salvation. The other represents Satan’s powerful antichrist deception called Azazel. Satan’s Azazel must be completely, “Cast Out” before all of mankind can come to know the True Atonement Mercy of Messiah Yeshua and the Heavenly Father.


 This leads into many more questions; such as what is the purpose of the first resurrection, Satan being bound for 1000 years, Messiah restoring the kingdom of Yahweh on earth, and the second resurrection when all of unsaved mankind will enter into judgment and their first opportunity to enter into the Atonement Covenant of Salvation.


I tried to explain the exact definition of propitiate which can generally mean; to appease wrath or change the impending judgment. The use of sacrificial innocent substitution offerings were common in pagan practices such as Molech worship. Yahweh completely rejects such sacrifice


Micah 6:6; 7; 8 (NIV84) — 6 With what shall I come before the Lord and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? 7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Ezekiel 18:25; 26; 27; 28; 29; 30; 31; 32 (NIV84) — 25 “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Hear, O house of Israel: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust? 26 If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin, he will die for it; because of the sin he has committed he will die. 27 But if a wicked man turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he will save his life. 28 Because he considers all the offenses he has committed and turns away from them, he will surely live; he will not die. 29 Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Are my ways unjust, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust? 30 “Therefore, O house of Israel, I will judge you, each one according to his ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. 31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel? 32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!

 There are many reasons why Scripture completely rejects any form of propitiation or appeasement of Yahweh's wrath. The prophets clearly show that Yahweh requires true repentance and the change of heart that turns sinners away from lawless disobedience.

In Micah and Ezekiel above. Propitiation is not the same as the Greek word “hilaskomai”, “hilasmos” which is the defining term for a generous or merciful nature that describes Yahweh’s willingness to forgive the truly repentant. Propitiation or expiation both use some form of substitution to alter a just judgment against a person. But Scripture shows that Yahweh chooses to forgive if a person turns away from their transgression of his laws. 

So then you may ask, why was Messiah Yeshua the pure sinless Atonement sacrifice that is presented before Yahweh in the Holy of Holies in heaven. The high priest Aaron could only enter the Holy of Holies once a year and must be carrying the Atonement blood. Symbolically showing that no human priest could enter the presence of Yahweh without a pure sinless offering. The physical tent of meeting was symbolic of heaven itself but human priests only entered the earthly tabernacle called Holy of Holies with the required Atonement blood. I tried to make it clear that no sin or guilt is placed on the Atonement sacrifice. Messiah Yeshua represents the sinless Passover lamb, the Mount Sinai covenant blood, and the Atonement pure sinless offering to Yahweh. 

Christianity is assuming that Messiah entered the presence of the Father to appease His wrath. Messiah and the Father are already in perfect agreement and the purpose of Messiah’s sinless sacrifice is to become an example for his disciples to follow. Just as the Day of Atonement fast, requires worshipers to deny themselves. Messiah said His sacrificial death would draw all men to Himself and the apostle Paul states that it is His Kindness – Lovingkindness – Mercy that draws you to repentance. I also tried to make a clear that the Pharisees rejection of the Messiah would cause them to die in their sins. Also Christianity believes their Jesus became a substitution sacrifice by becoming their sins, dying in their place as a Scape Goat, and  paying their sin debt to appease the wrath of their god so they do not have to obey that old covenant law. The Pharisees and Christianity seem to be relying on some form of external substitution propitiation or expiation instead of Yahweh’s required True repentance that leads to obedience of the Covenant Commandments. Messiah Yeshua was proven to be the sinless High Priest Melchizedek and perfect judge of all mankind. 

The Heavenly Father honors His Son by revealing His Spirit of Holy Oneness to Truly repentant disciples of Messiah Yeshua. The Atonement blood that Aaron sprinkled on the Ark of the Covenant is now carried outside the tent of meeting and sprinkled on the alter to cleanse and purge the uncleanness of sin. The animal sacrifices were only symbolic of Yahweh the Father and the Son Atonement Mercy that is poured out to cleanse and purge sin from True repentant worshipers. The symbolic animal sacrifices and Levitical priests could not perfect Israel’s obedience to Yahweh’s Covenant Commandments. So Yahweh the Father promised to Renew His Covenant with the cleansing power of His Spirit of Holiness that comes through Messiah Yeshua the Son. Again, I will state that Messiah Yeshua did not appease or expiate Yahweh the Father's wrath against sin and lawlessness. Because Scripture is clear that those who are continuing in sin are storing up wrath for the day of judgment. 

All of mankind must enter into the Atonement covenant through receiving the Merciful Forgiveness of the Heavenly Father. Only, Messiah Yeshua’s pouring out of His Spirit of Holiness will cleanse the Truly repentant worshipers from sin. Yom Kippur Day of Atonement is defined through the action of the Spirit of Holiness completely purging worshipers of every source of sin. The word Atonement means At – One – meant through the unifying power of the Spirit of Holiness. 

The final act of Atonement is the, “Casting Out” of “Azazel” which represent Satan. Scripture states that Satan is the source of sin and Messiah said that Satan will be cast out. Any attempt to  transfer Azazel’ sin guilt onto Messiah sinless Atonement offering is a complete perversion of Scripture and a lie directly from Satan. The Pharisees and teachers of the law had been corrupted by Satan’s idolatrous spiritual deception and they no longer understand the Atonement sacrificial offering. Yahweh was not pleased with their sacrifices because they were offered to Baal and Molech. 

Acts 7:41; 42; 43; 44 (NIV84) — 41 That was the time they made an idol in the form of a calf. They brought sacrifices to it and held a celebration in honor of what their hands had made. 42 But God turned away and gave them over to the worship of the heavenly bodies. This agrees with what is written in the book of the prophets: “ ‘Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the desert, O house of Israel? 43 You have lifted up the shrine of Molech and the star of your god Rephan, the idols you made to worship. Therefore I will send you into exile’ beyond Babylon. 44 “Our forefathers had the tabernacle of the Testimony with them in the desert. It had been made as God directed Moses, according to the pattern he had seen.

Judah and Levi spent 70 years in Babylonian captivity and when they returned, they were spiritually unclean. When the Temple was rebuilt in Jerusalem the Ark of the covenant was not returned and the Temple worship was empty. The prophetic arrival of Messiah revealed the Emanuel “god with us”. Messiah Yeshua is the Tabernacle of the Spirit of the Father and the Covenant law abides in Him. Messiah Yeshua was filled with zeal for the House of Yahweh and began purging the Pharisees and teachers of the law because of their sinful disobedience. The Hellenistic Greek philosophy and Babylonian idolatrous mysticism contaminated Judah and Levi and they did not understand Yahweh’s required justice and mercy and faithfulness. 


Satan’s idolatrous scapegoat substitution that is represented by Azazel. Satan’s lies are pervasive through all of the world’s religions that include Christianity and Judaism. Messiah Yeshua came to destroy Satan’s work of world deception. The Heavenly Father and Son are perfectly Just and Merciful and lead people into Faithfulness. Lovingkindness is revealed with the purpose of producing righteousness and obedience to the covenant commandments. Completing Atonement with Messiah Yeshua and the Heavenly Father.
