NEPHiLiM vs SATAN


Nephilim vs Satan

Genesis 6:4; many biblical scholars have attempted to identify the Nephilim, who are also called Sons of God. A non-canonical, “Book of Enoch”” depicts the Nephilim as the offspring of, “Satan's Seed.” The term “sons of god” is assumed to identify fallen angels that had sexual intercourse with the daughters of men and produced malignant nemesis that became the giant demagogues of the ancient world.
Careful examination of Scripture shows that the Nephilim could only be Noah and his sons who survived the flood.
Genesis 10:6; 8-10; Ham's grandson Nimród became a mighty conqueror and builder of Babel. Nimród opposed the Creator Yehawah and established the Babylonian mystery religion that promised immortality.

Satan's Seed ?

Genesis 3:1-5; 14; 15; The serpent's Voice whispered from the tree of the knowledge of “Good and Evil.” satan's first lie promised," you will not die, but be like God knowing good and evil." Satan planted the seed of lawlessness that would prevent mankind from eating of the tree of life. But, Yahweh promised that a seed of the woman," the Savior Messiah" would crush the head of Satan's evil spiritual influence over mankind.

Truth vs Mythology

by Michael S. Heiser,
This book contains many Jewish myths adopted from the book of Enoch and other pagan resources. I do not recommend this book, but mention it as one example of the deceptive misuse of scripture that is taught by the majority of Christianity.
Michael S. Heiser believes that the Nephilim are the offspring of Satan's seed. He teaches other pagan false doctrines such as the ‘immortal soul” and “Scapegoat” idolatry that originated from the Babylonian mystery religion. 1 Quote from Mr. Heiser’s book appears Biblical, while neglecting Messiah's promise to destroy the work of Satan.

In 1 John 3:8; the apostle John expressed the notion of spiritual seed—good or evil—manifesting itself in the human heart when he wrote”

Sons of God or Men?

Genesis 6:4; The Nephilim were upon the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of ( God = Eloheyem) went into the daughters of humankind, and they bore children to them. These were the mighty warriors that were from ancient times, men of renown. 
(Eze 28:12; 13; 14; 15; 16; 17; 18; Isa 14:12; 13; 14; 2 Pe 2:4; 5; ) 

Mighty Men or Giant Sinners?

The sin of Satan and the demons is pride, lawlessness, and violence. And they were cast down to the earth and imprisoned in Tartaroo that is described as a place of bondage or restraint. Satan and the demons are restrained, but allowed to spiritually tempt mankind into sin. All of mankind must learn to resist Satan's spiritual seed of evil influence. 

Who are the Nephilim?

Nephilim have the character of being Sons of Eloheyem and at the same time men. 
(Ge 6:4; ) States, that the Nephilim survived the flood. Careful review of Scriptures will show that only Noah and his sons could be the Nephilim. The 2 wives of Noah's sons Ham and Japheth were the daughters of men that were unrelated to Noah's family, descending from Seth. The wives of Noah's sons did not conceive children until after the flood and produced 3 separate racial identities. Only Shem's wife was related to Noah's family line that would lead to their descendants, Abraham and Sarah. 

Noah the son of Eloheyem

Genesis 6:1-2; 3; 4; 5-6; 7-8; 9-10; Constructs a contrast between two groups of humans. Wicked mankind is in opposition to Faithful Noah and his sons. There is no mention of angelic presence within this dialogue. The reference to Sons of Eloheyem refers to Noah and his sons. Noah’s spiritual obedience to Eloheyem identifies him as a Son of Eloheyem. 
(Jn 10:34-35; )  According to Messiah's own words, "does not Scripture say that you are Eloheyem, to whom the word of El came."
(2 Pe 2:5; 1 Pe 3:20; 21;) Peter identifies Noah as a preacher of righteousness and the text in Genesis clearly states that Eloheyem spoke to Noah and warned him of the coming flood. The rest of mankind refused to listen to Eloheyem's words of warning so then the flood would remove the wicked and unrepentant mankind from the face of the earth.

Nephilim?

Genesis 6:4; Identifying the Nephilim, this term is constructed from the weak Hebrew verb Phili that means wonderful, strong and mighty. Nephilim correctly means to be wonderful.

While some scholars attempt to relate this term etymologically to nāpal I via the noun nēpel “untimely birth” or “miscarriage” (as productive of superhuman monstrosities), a more likely reconstruction is the proposal of a root nāpal II, akin to other weak verbs, pûl II “be wonderful, strong, mighty,” pālāʾ “be wonderful,” and even pālâ “separate, distinguish,” pālal “discriminate.” This pattern of semantically related groups of weak verbs with two strong consonants in common is a notably recurrent phenomenon in Hebrew lexicography. Actually, the translation “giants” is supported mainly by the LXX and may be quite misleading. The word may be of unknown origin and mean “heroes” or “fierce warriors” etc. The RSV and NIV transliteration “Nephilim” is safer and may be correct in referring the noun to a race or nation.}

(Ge 6:4; ) Nephilim is emphasized with another Hebrew word that express the same meaning of strong and mighty. The sentence concludes with the statement that they are the "Men" of "Renown = Shem" that is the Hebrew name of Noah's son. 
(Ge 6:4; ) Carefully reading scriptures verifies that the Nephilim are men that Eloheyem considers to be wonderful, strong and mighty like Noah's son Shem.

Seed of Good vs Evil

Genesis 6:5-6; 7-8; 9-10; reveals Eloheyem's approval of Noah by the rejection of wicked mankind. This contrast demonstrates that the spiritual seed in Noah comes from Eloheyem. But, wicked mankind follows the spiritual seed of the "nachash" Satan the devil.

Love Conceives Life vs Sin Fosters Death

(Mt 19:4-5; 6; Lk 20:34; 35; 36; ) 
According to Messiah Yeshua; Angels can neither marry or be given in marriage. The biblical marriage occurs between one man and one woman as a sexual union that produces children. The Angels cannot have intercourse with human women. The statement Sons of Eloheyem refers to Noah, "to whom the word of Eloheyem came." Noah and his sons faithfully obeyed Eloheyem's voice and saved themselves and their wives.

Seed of a Savior

Genesis 2:24; 3:1; 2-3; 4-5; 14 Ge 3:15 NASB;  States, that Eloheyem established a separation between Satan's seed and the seed of a woman.
(1 Cor 11:11-12; Ge 4:1; Mk 10:6; 7; 8; 9; ) The apostle Paul explains that every man is born of a woman. Yehawah's law ordains that a woman only conceives through the sexual union with a human man, just as every creature can only reproduce through its own kind. But, every human will find themselves in conflict with the spiritual seed of Satan the devil. 
(Ge 4:1; 6-7; 1 Pe 5:8; ) Even Adam and Eve's son, Cain was warned that sin was crouching to consume him, but he must be the master over Satan's temptation.

Genesis 5:1–3 (NIV84) — 1 This is the written account of Adam’s line. When Eloheyem created man, he made him in the likeness of Eloheyem. 2 He created them male and female and blessed them. And when they were created, he called them “man.” 3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.
All of mankind are created to reflect the image of Elohe and become Sons of Eloheyem. Sadly, Adam and Eve allowed Satan's spiritual seed of evil to influence their thoughts. So then, all of mankind must learn to Love the knowledge of Goodness in Yehawah's words of Truth that saves them from Satan's Seed of Evil temptation.
Romans 5:12 (NIV84) — 12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.
The sins that brought death to mankind, did not end Yehawah's plan to create children in His Image and Likeness.
Romans 5:19 (NIV84) — 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
(Ge 3:14; Ge 3:15 NASB; ) Yehawah promised Adam and Eve that there would be a Savior, "a seed of a woman" that would crush the head of Satan.

Seed of Elohe: At-One-ment

Romans 5:10 (NIV84) — 10 For if, when we were Eloheyem’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
(Jn 12:32; Acts 2:38; 3:19-20; 21; 22; 23-24; 25; 26; ) Messiah Yeshua said that when he is lifted up He will draw all mankind to Himself. Sin has made mankind an enemy of Yehawah, but if a person repents and turns to Messiah Yeshua then they may receive forgiveness and be reconciled. Forgiveness leads to Reconciliation and begins the covenant restoration , but is not salvation. Salvation comes through Baptism and receiving the Spirit of Holiness that leads disciples into Obedience to Yahweh's Covenant Laws of Love.
1 Corinthians 15:45 (NIV84) — 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
(Acts 2:32-33; 34-35; 36; ) Yeshua's resurrection to eternal life proved that He is the Sinless Messiah and He received from the Father the Spirit of Holiness that is poured out to cleanse mankind from their sins.

Elohe the “Word” became the second Adam

John 1:1–5 (NASB95) — 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with EL elyon the Most High, and the Word was Elohe. 2 He was in the beginning with EL elyon. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
(Jn 10:30; 14:9; 10; 11; 15:9-10; ) Father and Son are One in the Spirit of Holiness
Galatians 3:16 (NASB95) — 16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ.
Matthew 1:21–23 (NIV84) — 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name “Yeshua”, because he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what Yehawah had said through the prophet: 
(Isa 7:14; ) 23 “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “EL with us.”
(Jn 1:1-3; 4-5; 9-10; 11-12; 13; 29; 33-34; )  Elohe the Eternal Son of EL elyon became flesh through the, "seed of a woman" as a physical manifestation of “Immanuel.” Yeshua, "the Son of man" would be the Lamb of Yehawah the promised Savior.
(Ge 3:15 NASB; ) The, "Seed of a woman" will crush the head of Satan and remove the spiritual seed of evil temptation.
Matthew 1:20; “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
Mary is identified as a virgin and there is no physical sexual union that conceives the promised child called, “Immanuel” that means, with us Tabernacles EL. Elohe the Eternal Son of Yehawah EL elyon entered into the seed of a woman and became flesh. This statement may seem beyond human comprehension, that the creator and giver of life would enter His physical creation and take upon himself the form of human flesh. The main importance is that the conception is Spiritually Holy. It would be shameful to compare Messiah Yeshua's Holy incarnation with the erroneous pagan belief that the Nephilim are the physical offspring of, "Satan's seed."
John 1:14 (NIV84) — 14 The Word became flesh and made his ( dwelling = Tabernacle) among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
(Ge 3:8; Ex 25:8; 29:45-46; Lev 26:11-12; Deut 23:14;  Eze 37:26; 2 Cor 6:16; ) Elohe the Son breathed life into the first man of clay and walked with Adam and Eve in the garden Paradise. Yehawah Elohe also manifest Himself to Abraham as "Melchizedek the priest of Elohim." Yehawah spoke to Moses from the burning bush and also revealed Himself from the midst of the fire on top of Mount Sinai.. Yehawah Elohe promised to Tabernacle with His people Israel.

Elohe the Seed of Spiritual Holiness that Gives Life

Romans 8:2–4 (NIV84) — 2 because through Messiah Yeshua the law of the Spirit of life set me free 
from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, EL elyon did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, 4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit ( that is in Elohe ).
(Jn 16:8-10; 11; 12:31; ) Messiah Yeshua's Faithful Obedience to His Heavenly Father's Commandments convicts all of mankind of their sinful and lawless disobedience. When a person repents and turns away from sin then they may receive the promised Spirit of Holiness to lead them into Obedience and Love of Yehawah Elohe's Words of Truth.
Ephesians 4:23–24 (NIV84) — 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like Elohe in true righteousness and holiness.
(Jn 15:9-10; Heb 5:6; 7; 8-10;  ) The Spirit in Messiah Yeshua leads His disciples into Obedience of His Heavenly Father's Commandments that produces Righteousness and Holiness.
Philippians 2:5–13 (NIV84) — 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Messiah Yeshua: 6 Who, being in very nature Elohe, did not consider equality with EL elyon something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! 9 Therefore EL elyon exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Messiah Yeshua is Yehawah Elohe, to the glory of EL elyon the Father. 12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is Eloheyem who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Seed of Life vs the seed of Death
(Jas 4:5-6; 7-8; ) 

Genesis 3:14; 4:6-7; 1 Pe 5:6-8; 9; 10-11; Jn 8:44; Satan the devil is like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Satan is also called the father of lies, the tempter, and guilty of murder. Satan cannot conceive life but only brings death. Satan the devil feeds on the dust of his deadly destructive seed of lawlessness.

(Rev 20:10; ) Satan will reap what he sows and at the end receive eternal destruction as his punishment. 

Giants of Faith vs Big Liars

Genesis 6:4; 15; 16; Descriptions of the measurements for the arc consist of three decks. Each deck was 10 cubits high which equals approximately 15 to 17.5 feet. One reason for the unusually tall ceilings could be that Noah and his sons could easily be 12 feet tall and considered giants by modern standards. This can explain why the term Nephilim has been translated as Giants. Before the flood the life span of mankind could easily reach 1000 years. 
The Nephilim are Noah and the faithful that receive the Seed of Elohe.

Shrinking Giants and Growing Faith 

Genesis 6:3; After the flood mankind's lifespan gradually decreased and so did their physical stature. 
(Deut 3:11; 12; ) The tallest man recorded in the Bible was Og who could easily have stood 12 feet high. 
(1 Sa 17:4; ) Later evidence reveals, Goliath and his brothers were only 9 to 10 feet tall. Modern mankind averages between five and 7 feet tall with a lifespan that rarely reaches 120 years. These statements may not seem conclusive to prove any doctrine, but is consistent with Scriptures and archaeological evidence. Another source of consideration is mankind's nature of storytelling that develops myths. The gods of the ancient world were depicted as giants. The long life and mighty stature of Noah and his sons would easily become the source of mythology.

Nimrod's anti-christ

Genesis 10:9; 10-12; Isa 14:4-5; 6; 21; 22; Noah's son Ham, had a grandson that followed the way of Cain's rebellious heart and laid the foundation for Babylon. Nimrod desired to rule over mankind and became a mighty conqueror. Nimrod constructed the Tower of Babel that magnified himself as a god and originated the earliest form of pagan idolatry. Nimrod's lifespan could easily have reached 400 to 500 years and he glorified himself as a mighty son of god. This pattern repeats the wickedness of mankind that followed the seed of Satan that received the wages of death. Sinful human nature follows Satan's seed of rebellion that glorifies themselves by forming gods in their own image and likeness. 
(Titus 1:13-14; 2 Tim 3:12-13; 14; 15; 16-17; 2 Pe 2:1; 2; 3; ) The apostle Paul correctly teaches from Scripture and warns against the deceptive beliefs formed from Jewish mysticism and pagan mythology: as portrayed in the fictitious book of Enoch.

Satan’s Seed in Tartaroo 

2 Peter 2:4; and  Jude 1:6;  reference to the Angels that  sinned and lost their position of authority and habitation.
Genesis 2:9; 17; Adam and Eve were warned not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Genesis demonstrates that Satan and the demons had  sinned before the creation of Adam and Eve. That is why there was no visible presence of Satan when Eve was tempted. Satan and the demons have already been cast into Tartaroo  that is a place of spiritual restraint.
Ezekiel 28:16; 17; 18; Yahweh caused a spiritual fire to consume Satan's glorified body so that he could not manifest himself in the physical realm in the same way as Yehawah's faithful Angels. 
Jude 1:12; 13; compares wicked mankind to the wandering stars, waterless clouds, and wild waves of the sea that depicts the remaining spiritual presence of demons that exist in Tartaroo.  Satan and the demons are incapable of physically interacting with humans. Satan and the demons spiritually influence mankind through temptation that may lead each person into rebellion against Yahweh's eternal laws. When, Messiah Yeshua cast out demons from people, there was no physical description of these unstable spirit beings.   Satan and the demons often deceive mankind by revealing themselves as ghosts or pretend to speak through witches and mediums as representatives of the dead.

Job 4:15; 16; 17-18;19; Satan is a liar and the father of lies. Yehawah justly cast him into Tartaroo and restrained Satan's dominion of darkness. Satan and the demons promote sexual immorality among mankind, but they are incapable of conceiving children themselves.

Satan's Fiery Façade and Smoky Deception

Ezekiel 28:12-18; Ezekiel symbolically represents the “Son of man, Messiah Yeshua” lamenting over the fall of Lucifer the covering cherub. ‘Thus says Yehawah Elohe, “You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 “You were in Eden, the garden of Eloheyem; On the day that you were created 
Ezekiel 28:14-18 (NASB95) 14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers, And I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of Eloheyem; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 “You were blameless in your ways From the day you were created Until unrighteousness was found in you. 16 “By the abundance of your trade You were internally filled with violence, And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane From the mountain of Eloheyem. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire. 17 “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you. 18 “By the multitude of your iniquities, In the unrighteousness of your trade You profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has consumed you, And I have turned you to ashes on the earth In the eyes of all who see you.
Isaiah 14:12-15; (NASB95) — 12 “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! 13 “But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of Eloheyem, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. 14 ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 “Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.
Revelation 12:7-9; (NASB95) — 7 And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, 8 and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
(Mt 4:10; Lk 10:17-18; 20; 21; 22; ) Messiah Yeshua saw Lucifer fall from heaven and lose the position as a covering cherub and become the adversary Satan the devil.
(Eze 28:18; 2 Cor 11:14-15; ) Lucifer's glorious heavenly body was consumed when Yahweh cast all the devils of adversity into the darkness and chains of Tartaroo. The former "MorningStar and Son of the Dawn” has now become a shadowy spirit of deception wearing a disguise of an angel of light. Satan and the demons are no longer, "Sons of Eloheyem."
Jude 1:6; (NASB95) — 6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day,
2 Peter 2:4; (NASB95) — 4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into, "Tartaroo" and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; 
(Mt 8:29; Mk 1:24; Lk 4:34; Rev 20:1; 2; 3; 9; 10; Tartaroo is not hell, Hades, or Shieol the pit. Tartaroo is only a place of spiritual bondage that restrains Satan and the devils until the day of judgment when their destruction will be completed in the lake of fire.)

The spiritual air of deception had already entered the peaceful garden of Eden as Satan mysteriously whispers the knowledge of evil to Eve while Adam is standing right beside her. Satan and the demons now exist as ghostly spirits of the "nachash" that are often biblically portrayed as false gods that speak through witches, mediums, or lifeless stone idols.)

Righteous Judgement and Merciful Salvation

2 Peter 2:5; and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
(Ge 6:1-2; 3; 4; Jas 2:19; ) Noah was a preacher of Yehawah's righteous words of truth. Noah warned the ungodly that a coming flood would destroy the wicked. Noah and his sons are called, "Nephilim the Sons of Eloheyem" because they received the words of Yehahawah and built an ark to save their family. Satan and the demons are ungodly just as the wicked are not, "Sons of Eloheyem."

Even, Michael the Archangel defended Moses a, "Son of Eloheyem" in-whom Yahweh had placed His Majestic Spiritual Glory of Holiness. Satan the accuser was not allowed to defile the body of Moses. Yehawah Elohe rebukes the adversary of his people.)
Jude 1:9; But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against ( him = Moses) a railing judgment, but said, (to Satan the accuser) “The Lord rebuke you!”

Faithful majestic Ones

All the Faithful and Righteous that Obey Yahweh are, "Sons of Elohim.” 
(Rev 20:4; 5; 6; ) Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses, the Prophets and Apostles with all the saints will arise from the dead at Messiah's return when He establishes the Kingdom of Yehawah Elohe on earth.

Job a Righteous, "Son of Eloheyem

(Ge 46:13 NASB; 1 Chr 7:1 NASB; Job 1:1; 8; Job was a son of Issachar and became very prosperous in the land of Egypt after his uncle Joseph had rescued Israel from the great famine. Job's Faithfulness and Obedience became a target for Satan's reviling accusations. The story of Job's sorrowful affliction is well known when his righteousness was put on trial. Yehawah finally rescued Job and later changed his name to Jashub that means, "Yahweh restores."
(Heb 5:7; 8-10; 11; 12; 13-14; 12:1; 2; 3-4; 5; 6; 7-8; 9; 10; 11; ) Job experienced severe trials and suffering that tested his faithfulness and obedience.
(Job 13:15; 19:25; 26; ) Even, through suffering, Job faithfully trusted in Yahweh's redemption and hoped in his future resurrection from death.

Job 1:6 (NASB95) — 6 Now there was a day when the sons of ( God = Eloheyem ) came to present themselves before the ( Lord = Yehawah ), and Satan also came among them.
The, "Sons of Eloheyem" are also the Faithful Angels of Yehawah that assemble in the heavenly realm. Then Satan the accuser came among them. It is important to note that Satan is not considered to be one of the, "Sons of Eloheyem."
(Job 1:7; 4:12-14; 15-16; 17-18; Jude 1:13; ) Satan speaks from the prison of Tartaroo and is trapped in spiritual chains as he wanders the face of the earth.

Israel the Unfaithful "Sons of Eloheyem"

(Ex 20:1-2-3; 4; 5; 6-7; 8; 18; 19-20; 21-22; Heb 4:1; 2; 4; 6; 7; 9; 11; 12; 14; 15; 16; Yehawah Elohe assembled the sons of Israel at Mount Sinai and Moses received the Covenant 10 Commandments. The Israelites agreed to obey Yehawah's voice and they became the, "Sons of Eloheyem" and entered into the Good News of Salvation.
John 1:12–13 (NASB95) — 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of ( God = Eloheyem ), even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of ( God = Eloheyem ).

James 2:19 (NASB95) — 19 You believe that (Eloheyem family) is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.
Yehawah the Father's children are all, "Sons of Eloheyem." Satan and the demons are the adversary.

Luke 4:41 (NASB95) — 41 Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, “You are the Son of ( God = Eloheyem )!” But rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.

The Israelites abandon Yehawah Elohim and worshiped demons that are not, "Sons of Elohim." Satan and the demons are destroyers of life and adversaries of truth.

Tartaroo, Hades, or Geenna the lake of fire

Acts 2:27 (NIV84) — 27 because you will not abandon me to the ( grave = hades ), nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
Psalm 16:10 (NIV84) — 10 because you will not abandon me to the (  grave = sheol )l, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
Both Hades and Sheol should be properly translated as the Grave. When most people die they are buried in a grave that is a pit or hole in the earth and their bodies return to the dust. 
(Eph 4:8; 9-10; 1 Pe 3:18; Rev 1:18; ) Messiah Yeshua never sinned, so when He died and was entombed, His body did not decay. Three days after Messiah's death, he arose from the grave and ascended into heaven.
Acts 2:31 (NIV84) — 31 Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to the (grave = hades), nor did his body see decay.
The word grave is translated from the Greek; "Hades" that is often incorrectly assumed to be hell. The misunderstanding of Hades comes from Greek myth the depicts the underworld as the realm of the dead that is ruled by a mythological god. Modern Christianity transfers deceptive pagan beliefs to biblical references of Sheol that describes the "Grave" as a pit in the Old Testament. Satan's spiritual influence over pagan cultures produces many false beliefs that distort Yehawah's words of truth.

The Hebrew words Chey Nephesh means, "living creature" and identifies both humans and animals. The word soul is derived from the Hebrew term for a living = Chey ; creature = Nephesh ). 
The Hebrew word Ro-ach means "breath or spirit.” Ro-ach is also used to express self-awareness or conscience. When the breath "Ro-ach” is taken away then the  living creature "Chey Nephesh" dies.
Psalm 104:29 (NIV84) — 29 When you hide your face, they are terrified; when you take away their (breath = Ro-ach or spirit), they die and return to the dust.
Psalm 146:4 (NASB95) — 4 His ( spirit = breath Ro-ach) departs, he returns to the earth; In that very day his thoughts perish.
When the breath is taken away then the conscience of the living creature comes to an end.
Ecclesiastes 9:5 (NIV84) — 5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing;

Elohim breathed life into the first Adam. Death occurs when the breath in a “living creature = Soul" is taken away and returns to Eloheyem the creator and giver of life.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 (NIV84) — 7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the (spirit = breath in the Hebrew  Ro-ach) returns to God who gave it.

The Soul dies and the Spirit returns to Eloheyem

(Ge 3:4; 5; ) Satan deceived Eve promising that she would not die. The belief that mankind has an immortal soul originates from Satan's first lie and continues through most mythological religious beliefs.
Acts 2:29 (NIV84) — 29 “Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day.
David died and was buried and his body "Soul" returned to the dust. David did not ascend to heaven, but his body decayed in the grave of Hades the pit of Sheol.
Acts 2:34–35 (NIV84) — 34 For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said, “ ‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand 35 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” ’

Body, Mind, and Spirit

1 Corinthians 15:45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living ( soul = psyche or conscience) ”; the last Adam, a life-giving ( spirit = pneum or breath).

New Testament Greek uses the term ( psyche = soul ) for the conscious mind. The Soul represents Self-awareness within the ( soma = physical body. The Hebrew Scriptures demonstrates that the Chey Nepheshi body and the conscious mind parishes together at death. The Greek terminology still recognizes the physical reality that a living creature dies when its breath is taken away. The Greek word for breath is pneuma and expresses the same meaning as the Hebrew Ro-ach = spirit or breath.

Hebrews 4:12 (NIV84) — 12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing (soul = psyche) and (spirit = pneuma or breath), joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
(Mt 12:36; 2 Cor 10:5; Ro 6:23; ) The Soul or conscious psyche of a person can be separated from the spiritual breath that gives life. Every thought will come under judgment and the wages of sin is death. A person's death will completely end their conscience self awareness and their body returns to dust. 
1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NIV84) — 23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole ( spirit = pneum or breath), ( soul = psyche or conscience) and (body = Soma or physical) be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Spirit of Holiness sanctifies the (spirit = pneuma) and (soul = psyche) in faithful followers of Messiah Yeshua, so that they may be purified in body, mind, and spirit.
Matthew 10:28 (NIV84) — 28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the (body = Soma) but cannot kill the (soul = psyche). Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both (soul = psyche) and (body = Soma) in ( hell = geenne and destroyed in the final lake of fire that completely consumes).
(Lk 12:6; 7; ) Messiah Yeshua is being reassuring and at the same time warning mankind that the physical death of a person does not prevent Yahweh from remembering their (psyche or conscious) thoughts that will be brought before judgment. For, Yahweh numbers the hairs on your head and is able to raise the dead. But, the rebellious in heart may be judged as worthy of eternal death and then their conscience thoughts will be removed forever from Yahweh's memory.
Luke 12:5 (NIV84) — 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing ( the word body was added to the sentence), has power to throw you into ( hell = geenna). Yes, I tell you, fear him.
Revelation 20:14–15 (NIV84) — 14 Then death and ( Hades = Sheol the grave) will be thrown into the lake of ( fire is not geenna). The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone’s name is not found written in the book of life, he will be thrown into the lake of fire.
"Death and Hades will be thrown into the Lake of Fire" symbolizes that there will be no more death or graves in the pit of Sheol, when Yahweh finally consumes all wickedness in the lake of fire. Satan and the demons will no longer exist to tempt mankind to sin.

Matthew 16:18 (NIV84) — 18 And I tell you that you are ( Peter = petros = small stone ), and on this ( Rock = Petra = the title of Messiah Savior representing an immovable Rock Mountain fortress) I will build my church, and the gates of (Hades = the grave) will not overcome it.
(Rev 1:12; 13; 14; 15; 16; 17; 18; ) The Resurrected and Glorified Messiah holds the Keys to Death and Hades. Messiah Yeshua will release the prisoners of Death, held captive in the waterless pit of the Grave, by raising everyone to renewed life.
(Psa 90:3; 4; 5; 104:29; 30; Zec 9:11; Ro 6: 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; Act 24:15; Rev 20:4; 5; 6; All mankind are destined to die once. Even though, death returns mankind to dust, there is the promised hope of the resurrection from the waterless pit of the grave. 
Matthew 7:13–14 (NIV84) — 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
John 14:6 (NIV84) — 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Messiah Yeshua is the Way, Truth, and the Life. There is only one doorway for mankind to enter into the house of the Heavenly Father to receive Eternal Life.
