ENOCH, SAMUEL, ELiJAH and DEATH?

Genesis 4:3-4; 5-6; 7; 8; Heb 11:4; from the time Cain killed Abel there has existed the sad reality of death. But there remains a mystery surrounding the death of Enoch, Samuel, and Elijah.

Genesis 5:21-22; 23-24; Enoch lived 365 years and when he died Eloheyem removed his body. Enoch Faithfully walked with Eloheyem. Some people assume Enoch was bodily carried up into heaven.


A Moving Remembrance of Enoch
Hebrews 11:5; should be translated," By faith Enoch was (Meta-tithe = removed) from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because Eloheyem had (Meta-theken =  removed) him.
[Yehawah Eloheyem mercifully prevented Enoch from experiencing the agonies of death and Enoch's lifeless body was moved to a secret burial site. Yehawah Eloheyem honors those who faithfully serve Him. Both Enoch and Moses' bodies were protected from the abuse of their enemy Satan.

ESL greek 3346 μετατίθημι [metatithemi /met·at·ith·ay·mee/]  This word generally means to  "move or remove" to another place. The object being moved does not change. Meta-tithemi only describes a change of location and not a metaphysical transformation.
( Heb 11:5; Acts 7:15-16; Just as Enoch; also, Jacob and Joseph's bodies were  "moved" from Egypt to Shechem.) 
 (In Hebrews 7:12; the apostle Paul explains that the temporary priestly order of Aaron is "Meta-tithemines = returning or moving" back to the original Eternal priesthood of Melchizedek. Paul also states that the priestly application of the law is also "Meta-thesis = moved" to the permanent authority of Melchizedek.)
[The proper use of a metaphor requires that information remain in synchronicity so that a copy or pattern maintains a uniform portrayal of an ideal as in a parable.]
In Hebrews 7:12; the law is not changed, but the priestly mediation of the law was moved from Aaron to Melchizedek.]

Genesis 3:19; Yehawah instructed Adam that mankind is made of dust and at death all mankind returns to the dust. There is no scriptural evidence to assume that mankind has an immortal soul that transcends the reality of death.

Matthew 10:28; Lk 12:4; Do not fear mortal humans, who kill the  "soma = body" but cannot kill the "psyche = soul". The Greek word soma means the physical body and the word psyche refers to the conscious awareness within the mind of living humans. Human psyche acquires information through the physical senses and when the  "soma= body" dies than the conscious awareness also perishes. Human  "psyche = soul" or conscience may also become aware of the "pneuma = Spirit" of the Eternal Yehawah Eloheyem. The Spirit of Yehawah Eloheyem breathed life into Adam and he became a temporary living creature. When the creature dies, then the Spirit of Eloheyem retains a remembrance of every person.

ESL greek 4983 σῶμα [soma /so·mah/] Soma refers only to the physical body
ESL greek 5590 ψυχή [psuche /psoo·khay/] Psyche refers to the physical mind that retains conscious self-awareness. Psychology is the study of the mind.
ESL greek 4151 πνεῦμα [pneuma /pnyoo·mah/]  Pneuma generally refers to air, breath, wind, and has a proper transference meaning of the “spirit”. The Spirit of Yehawah Eloheyem gives life, just as breathing air is required for life to exist in a physical body.

The Bible story of Samuel seems to suggest that a medium can communicate to the spirit realm of the dead. 
Leviticus 20:6; Isa 8:19; 20;  Yehawah Eloheyem expressly forbids seeking witches, mediums, and spiritist that pretend to communicate to the dead.
2 Peter 2:1; 3; 4; 1 Tim 4:1; 2; Satan and the demons have been cast into the shadowy realm of Tartarosas. Witches, mediums, and spiritist are actually communicating to demons that are called deceptive spirits.
Acts 16:16; 17; 18; 19; There is an example of apostle Paul casting out a demon from a girl pretending to tell the future. 

Yehawah Eloheyem's Words are Faithful and True
1 Samuel 15:22; 23; 35; 25:1;  Samuel corrects Saul by saying, "obedience is better than sacrifice." Saul's disobedience caused Yehawah to reject him from being king over Israel. After Samuel died, Saul became fearful and asked a medium to communicate with the dead.

1 Sam 28:3; 2:30; Psa 50:23; Isa 8:19; 20;)  

  1 Samuel 28:12; 1 Sam 28:13 NASB; 1 Sam 28:14; 15; The medium of En-dor summoned Samuel up from the  dead. Only the medium saw a divine being coming up out of the earth. Even though Samuel's lifeless body is entombed and returning to the dust. Yehawah's heart guards the memory of His faithful servants. The medium may have received a vision from Yehawah of Samuel's future resurrection. The voice Saul heard speaking may have come from the medium or Saul may have been allowed to witness the vision. Yehawah may have spoken through the medium; just as Yehawah Eloheyem spoke through Balaam's donkey. Yehawah also ordered Balaam to bless Israel with a prophetic revelation of the future Messiah King of Israel. 
 (Numbers 22:12; 22; 28; 29; 30; 31; Yehawah is speaking through a donkey, as if He is the voice of the donkey.)

(Matthew 17:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6-8; Mt 17:9 NASB; Luke 9:28-29; 30-31; 32; 33; 34-35; 36; The disciples witnessed a vision of Messiah's transfiguration, they also envisioned the future resurrection of Moses and Elijah talking to Messiah Yeshua.) 

 1 Samuel 28:16; 17; 18; When Samuel was alive he spoke the words of Yehawah. Now Yehawah reminds Saul of Samuel's faithful words. 
 1 Samuel 28:19; The voice reminds Saul that he and his sons will soon be dead just as Samuel is still dead. Samuel is really dead and cannot speak to anyone.

The Fiery Chariot and Elijah's Mysterious Disappearance
John 3:12; 13; Almost 1000 years after Elijah's death. Messiah Yeshua clearly stated that no one has ascended into heaven except the Son of Man who came down from heaven, meaning himself.

2 Kings 2:9; 10; 11; 12; 15; 16; 17-18; 3:1; In the 18th year of the reign of Jehoshaphat king of Judah. Elijah was taken up in a fiery chariot and Elisha was anointed with a duplicate Spirit of Yehawah Eloheyem. Elijah was carried off to an unknown location on earth.
1 Kings 22:42; 51; 2 Ki 8:16;  Approximately 11 years later during the reign of Joram king of Israel. Elijah sends a letter to Jehoram king of Judah.
  2 Chronicles 21:1; 5; 12; 13; 15; 19; Jehoshaphat's son Jehoram reigned as king in Jerusalem six years before receiving a letter from Elijah. The time and location of Elijah's death remains unknown just as Moses and Enoch.

Enoch, Samuel, and Elijah all Died without receiving Eternal Life
 Ecclesiastes 9:5; 12:7; Psa 104:29; When humans died they return to the dust and the Spirit returns to Yehawah Eloheyem the creator of life. 
John 3:5; 6-7; 8; 6:62-63; The Spirit of Yehawah is compared to the wind or breath in a man. 
Psalm 94:11; 104:29; Ec 3:19; 20-21; When the breath is taken away the soul dies. Humans do not have an immortal soul. It is the spirit that comes from Yahweh that gives life to the body.  
Ecclesiastes 9:5; 6; The word soul is the physical conscience within the human brain and only has self-awareness through the physical senses and when the body dies then the conscious awareness of the human also dies. 
Matthew 10:28-29; 30; 31; 32; Lk 12:4-5; 6-7; But Scripture says that Yahweh knows each person completely and numbers the hairs on their head. Yehawah is also able to raise everyone to life and restore their conscious awareness at the time of the future resurrection of the dead.

 Genesis 2:7; 16-17; 3:17; 19; 22; Adam and Eve sinned by eating of the knowledge of good and evil. Sin brought death and everyone will return to the dust.
(John 5:39; 40; Messiah Yeshua's Spirit of Holiness is the only source of Eternal Life.)

Elijah will Restore All Things
Matthew 17:10-11; 12; Elijah's return is a reference to the prophecy.
Malachi 3:1; 2; 16; 17; 18; 4:1; 2; 3; 4; 5; John the Baptist was a messenger who prepared the way before the "Lord of the Covenant "Messiah Yeshua.
Luke 1:13-14; 15-16; 17; 68-69; 70-72; 73-75; 76; 77; 78-79; John the Baptist would be filled with the same spirit and power that was in Elijah the prophet.
 Matthew 3:1-2; 3; Isa 40:3; Jn 1:21; 22; 23; 24-25; 26-27; 29-30; 31-32; 33-34; 5:28-29; 6:44-45; 46; 8:42-43; 44; 45-46; 47;  10:30;  12:50; 14:10; 11; 16:32; Col 2:9; John testified that he was not the Elijah. Messiah Yeshua is the true Elijah who is the Living Tabernacle of the Spirit of Yehawah the Father. 
 1 Peter 1:10; 11; 12; All the prophets spoke as they were moved by the Spirit of Christ= Messiah Yeshua in them, including Elijah.

Hebrews 11:13; 14-15; 16; 39-40; 
Jude 1:9; 14; 15; Spirit filled servants of Yahweh that have died will all share in the Promised resurrection to Eternal Life at Messiah's return. 
Matthew 17:11; Acts 3:13; 14-15; 17-18; 19-20; 21; 22-23; 24; 25; 26; Messiah Yeshua is the Elijah that will restore all things at His return when He establishes the Kingdom of Yahweh the Father on earth.
