Yes - No or Not I ?

 The Hebrew word: “No or Not”, may sometimes Express a positive intention, or a rhetorical question. There are two main Hebrew words: “LE = לֹא or EL = אַל”, that are often used to express, “No or Not”. Sadly translators often make mistakes. An incorrect use of the word “No or Not”, occur in: 

(Ex 20:3; Isa 2:9-10; Jer 18:23; Neh 5:4; )


Exodus 20:1–2 (NASB95) — 1 Then (God = אֱלֹהִ֔ים = Eloheyem) spoke (E-tH = אֵ֛ת = Sign of Covenant) )all = כָּל = K-L) (these words = הַדְּבָרִ֥ים = Ha...D-B-R-Ye-M), saying, 2 “(I am = אָֽנֹכִ֖י֙ = E-N-K-Ye) (Lord God = יהוה אֱלֹהֶ֑֔י = Yehwah Elohe), who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.


The Hebrew title: Eloheyem, is plural and a Family title. 

In Genesis one: one; John 1:1; 2; 3; Eloheyem, identifies 2 Eternal Creators. 

Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:4; 5; 6; 7; Together, Eloheyem began creating Angels, as members of Their Family. 

Eze 28:14; 15; 16; 17; 18; Isa 14:12; 13; 14; Rev 12:7; 8; 9; 10; Jn 12:31; 16:11; 2 Pe 2:4; Jude 1:6; But, Satan and the Demons, rebelled against Yehwah’s governing authority. 

Ga 4:6; 7; 8; 9; 1 Cor 8:4; 5; 6; 7; 10:19; 20; Isa 37:19; 20; Jer 16:19; 20; Satan and the Demons, were cast out of heaven, and are no longer members of the Eloheyem Family.

Genesis 1: 26; Psa 82:5; Jn 10:30; 34; 35; 36;  Later, Adam and Eve and their children, were also created, to become members of the Eloheyem Family.

Isa 44:6; 7; 8; So then, there is only One Eternal Eloheyem Family. And there does not exist any other gods.

Exodus 20:3 (NASB95) — 3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.


“You shall, Not”! or “Not I”?


Exodus 20:3; would be better translated:

 Not, I cause to be or belong,

to go or to walk,

Eloheyem, 

(others or offspring -like living Waters), 

lifted up, facing (Me or I Am).


The phrase: “you shall, Not!”, does not exist in, 

Exodus 20:3; because it does not contain the Hebrew word: (E-tH-Ha = אַתָּה = you). 

But, Exodus 20:4; contains a singular Hebrew letter: ( תָּ = tH), as an abbreviated representation of the word (E-tH-Ha = אַתָּה = you(. 

In Exodus 20:4; the phrase: (L-E...tH…Oa-sh-Ha…L-K) = לֹא תַעֲשֶׂה־לְךָ = ...

“Not = לֹא = L-E”

“you = תַ = tH”…

The first commandment: 

In Exodus 20:2-3; Yehwah Elohe, has freed Israel from slavery in Egypt. Then in sentence three... Yehwah Elohe, reassures Israel, of His dedication, to train or discipline, Israel as members of the Eloheyem family.

Exodus 20:3; Yehwah Elohe States: “Not I, caused to belong, to (walk or train and discipline) Eloheyem, offspring lifting up to see my face”.

 Israel must walk, in obedience to Yehwah Elohe’s Commandments, to belong to the Family of Yehwah Eloheyem . 


In Exodus 20:4; the second commandment states: “you shall not”, walk after idols or form images, to worship. 


The following information, is helpful in correcting mistranslations. By improving the understanding of Hebrew within Exodus 20:3-4;… 


Exodus 20:3 (AFAT) — 3 לֹא יִהְיֶה־לְךָ אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים עַל־פָּנָיַ׃

Israel would be like a spiritual, “Roaring River”, if their hearts overflow, with the “Living Waters" of Yehwah's Words of Truth. And Yehwah Elohe, would lift up, faithful Israel to see His face. )

From an unused root meaning to be lofty;  420 occurrences; AV translates as “heaven” 398 times, “air” 21 times, and “astrologers + 1895” once. 1 heaven, heavens, sky. 1a visible heavens, sky. 1a1 as abode of the stars. 1a2 as the visible universe, the sky, atmosphere, etc. 1b Heaven (as the abode of God).


Not I Cause to Walk, Eloheyem!


Exodus 20:3 should say… would not I, cause to belong, to be or to walk Eloheyem, others (roaring like a river) exulted facing Me.


Yehwah Elohe established His covenant with Israel, so that Abraham’s descendants may join the family of Eloheyem. But, satan and the demons are not members of the Eloheyem family. Also Idols made by humans are not Eloheyem. Only, people that are spiritually United  to Yehwah (Elohe the Son) and (EL elyon the Father)  may join the Eloheyem Family. Eternal Life exist only within the Eloheyem Family of Yehwah.

Not Forgive Them?


So then, why would Isaiah 2:9; Jer 18:23; Neh 4:5; say, “Not Forgive”?


The Hebrew word: “E-L” = אַל = is sometimes translated ,no “or not”. But, “E-L” = אַל = may also represent a question? A scripture may be misunderstood. When a comparison of humanities unfaithfulness, is presented in contrast, to Yehwah’s Faithfulness. Just as, Yehwah Elohe’s Covenant Promises remain True, even when Israel failed to obey. Therefore, Yehwah Elohe, Will fulfill His (E-tH = אֵ֛ת = Sign of Covenant) commitment. Promising to cause Israel to “Walk” in Obedience to the covenant of the Eloheyem Family.


Isaiah 2:9 (NASB95) — 9 So the common man has been humbled And the man of importance, has been abased, But do 

(Not = אַל = E-L = ESL H 408) 

(forgive = תִּשָּׂ֖א = H 5375 ??? )

 them.
