   A Bible Topic: WHO IS JESUS: this blog is dedicated to the pursuit of truth as it is revealed in the Holy Bible. Bible chapters and verses may be linked to topic comments.  References to the original Hebrew and Greek languages are used to benefit Bible study.
The name Jesus is well known to many people as the savior. When Jesus was born he was given the Hebrew name Yehawshua.

logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.3091{ יְהֹושֻׁעַ [Yehawshuʿa /yeh·ha·shoo·ah/] } which means the eternal is salvation. The first part of Yehawshua name comes from the Hebrew title for the eternal; which is YHWH and may be pronounced Yehawah. Names in the Hebrew language provide information about the character or actions of a person. Yeh; means I am or I exist and hawah; means to bring into being or to establish.

logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.3050 { יָהּ [Yeh] is poorly translated as Lord
logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.3068 { יהוה   [Yehawah /yeh·ha·waw/] To construct a clear definition of Yehawah. Combine # 1961
logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.1961{ הָיָה [hayeh /haw·yew/] translates as: I AM. Join [Yeh] I AM with  # 1933
 logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.1933 { הָוָה  [hawah /haw·vaw/] causes to exist or creates.}
 It is important to retain the knowledge of the titles of the eternal to identify who Jesus;Yehawshua truly is in the old and new testament of the Bible. Yehashuwah can be shortened to Yeshua for easier pronunciation. The authors of the New Testament often use the Greek language. Yeshua; is changed to the greek word Ihsus; [which is pronounced E-a-sus] and sounds like Jesus in english.
logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.3467 יָשַׁע [yeshaʿ /ye·shu-ah/]   translates as “save”, “saviour”, “deliver”
 The attempts to translate into alternative languages may cause the loss of the true meaning of the original words or titles.
The word God is an example of a title that does not express a correct understanding of the  original  Hebrew name  Eloheyem; which is a family name. Eloheyem is plural as a noun and identifies at least two persons.
 logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.430{ אֱלֹהִים [eloheyem /el·o·heyem/] is translated God; but is a plural noun. God # 433 logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.433{ אֱלֹוהַּ [elowahh] is a singular noun.  Many different titles that begin with el are simply translated God. The interpretation of # 410

logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.193{ אֱוִיל a root meaning; to twist, i.e. (by implication) be strong. EL emphasizes; unity is strength! logosres:strongs;ref=HebrewStrongs.1930{ הִיא  [heyʾ /hee/] translates as “that”, “him”, “same”, “this”, “he";}
This can be a reference to unity with the Father.

[A clear description of the character and action of the Eternal Family is manifest in Yehawah Eloheyem; I AM establishes and creates Unity that is the strength of LIFE!]
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn1.1  (Jn 1:1; 2; 3; 4)  In the beginning was the Word (Logos), and the Word was with God (Eloheyem), and the Word was God (Elowahh). 2 He was with God (Eloheyem) in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

 [The apostle John identifies Jesus as the Word; which is translated from the Greek; (Logos) which means Spokesman. Jesus: Yeshua represents the Eloheyem family as a messenger.]
 logosres:louwnida;ref=LouwNida.33.100{ λόγοςe[Logos] is a Title for Jesus in the Gospel of John as a reference to the content of (Eloheyem the Father's) revelation and as a verbal echo of the use of the verbs meaning ‘to speak’ in Genesis 1 and in many utterances of the prophets—‘Word, Message.}

logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Heb1.1  (Heb 1:1; 2; 3)  In the past  (Logos) spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of (Eloheyem’s) glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.

[Jesus: Yeshua  proclaims the words his Heavenly Father has given him to speak.]

logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn12.49  (Jn 12:49; 50)  For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. 50 I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”
[Yeshua identifies the Father as the head of the Eloheyem family.
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn14.10  (Jn 14:10; 11)  Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn1.14  (Jn 1:14)  The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (The apostle John testifies that Yeshua is the one and only Son. The Father And Son are the only eternal Spirit beings existing in perfect harmony and unity of Spirit. The Holy Spirit is an expression of the Oneness of heart and mind which is True Love.)
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn5.19  (Jn 5:19; 20)  Yeshua declares: “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these.

[Yeshua existed eternally with the Father in a heavenly realm before the creation of a physical universe. The Father and Son desired to increase the family of Eloheyem by sharing life with created beings. Angels were created to reflect the character of the Son; full of Spirit Life and Knowledge. Angels used their gifts and talents to serve in a Heavenly Kingdom. The universe was created after the Angels were trained in their governmental appointments.]

logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Job38.4  (Job 38:4; 5; 6; 7) “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?   7 while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy.

[The Father and Son created many wonderfully unique Angels to inhabit a heavenly realm. Three Archangels named Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer received positions of leadership over other special gifted Angels.  When the physical universe exploded into existence by a dazzling display of creative brilliance the Angels rejoiced.]
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Je10.12  (Je 10:12)  Eloheyem made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

[All the Angels received assignments to assist in the continuing creative plans of the Heavenly Father and Son.]

[Lucifer means: bringer of light or Morning Star]. Lucifer was placed as a leader over a third of the angels and he was a powerful spiritual leader filled with wisdom and talented in music and song. The Heavenly Father and Son continued creating a universe filled with stars and planets; with one special earth which would be a center for their creative work. Lucifer and a 3rd of the angels would govern over the earth. The earth was full of life; plants and animals, which reflected the spiritual influence of Lucifer and his angels. Over time Lucifer began to desire to replace the Son as the leader of all the angels. Lucifer and his angels made war ; against Michael and Gabriel and the Angels that remained faithful to the Son. Lucifer and his angels were Cast Out of Heaven and thrown down to the earth.]

logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Eze28.12  (Eze 28:12; 13; 14) “Son of (Eloheyem), take up a lament concerning Lucifer: ‘This is what the Sovereign Yehawah says: “ ‘You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God (Eloheyem); every precious stone adorned you:  on the day you were created they were prepared. 14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God (Eloheyem); you walked among the fiery stones.
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Is14.12Is 14:12; 13; 14)  How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! 13 You said in your heart, “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise m  (y throne above the stars of Eloheyem; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. 14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Re12.7  (Re 12:7; 8; 9) And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Eze28.15  (Eze 28:15; 16; 17)  You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. 16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. 17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth.
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Lk10.18  (Lk 10:18)  Yeshua said,, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
[This great rebellion brought destruction upon the earth; so that the earth became dark and empty of life. Now Lucifer lost his good name [light bringer] and received a new name Satan [which means adversary.]
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Je4.23Je 4:23; 24) I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone. 24 I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying.

 logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Ge1.1  (Ge 1:1; 2; 3; 4; 5)  In the beginning God (Eloheyem) created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now (the Rebellion caused) the earth (to become) formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God (Eloheyem the Father) was (trembling) over the waters. 3 And (Eloheyem the Son) said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 Eloheyem saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn5.36  (Jn 5:36; 37) "The very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me. 37 And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form. (The Father is an invisible Spirit Being)

logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Ro1.20  (Ro 1:20)  For since the creation of the world Eloheyem’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made,
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Col1.15  (Col 1:15; 16)  (Yeshua) is the image of the invisible (Eloheyem Father). 16 For by him (The Father) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether  powers or authorities; all things were created by him (The Father) and for him (The Son).

logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Is45.12  (Is 45:12)  It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn12.44  (Jn 12:44; 45; 46) Yeshua cried out, “When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. 45 When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn14.23  (Jn 14:23; 24) Yeshua said, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
logosres:niv;ref=BibleNIV.Jn3.19  (Jn 3:19; 20; 21) This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through (the Spirit of Eloheyem the Father).
