Stumbling over the Truth

Symbols of the Cross, dramatically portray, Christianity’s foundational belief, in Christ’s substitutionary death. Preaching, the UnJust Crucifixion, accomplished Salvation, as payment for mankind’s sin debt. This Sacrificing of an innocent “ScapeGoat”. Is an ancient ritual to appease the wrath of the gods.

In comparison, the nation of Israel ceremonial worship, focused on the animal sacrifices, required in the Priestley “Works of the Law”. The Israelite people, would remain under the Levitical priesthood mediation, until the appointed time for revealing the Savior.

Hebrews 10:1; 2; 3; 4; Israel’s Covenant identity was maintained, by the symbolic practice of Circumcision in the flesh, and animal sacrifices, that are the “Works of the Law”. However, “Symbolic Works”, can never Save, and only became a continual reminder of “Sin”.

Apostle Paul’s letter to the Galatians. Emphasizes his opposition, to the Jewish religious leaders, reliance on the symbolic “Works of the Law”, to prove they are dedicated to Yehwah’s Covenant.

Then in, Ga 5:11; Paul makes a mysterious declaration, intended to convict, religious Jews, that symbolic circumcision has not cut away the sinfulness of their hearts.

Emphatically, Paul proclaims the Prophetic Judgment. The Jewish religious leaders, have “Sinned”, by “Stumbling over the Offense”, of the Cross!

(Isa 1:11; 16; 18;  Hos 6:4; 5; 6; 7; Mt 9:12; 13; 12:7; 8; 23:23; )

Under Who's Feet?

In Hebrews 2:6; 7; 8; there seems to be a question, concerning who is the person or persons, that  the Heavenly Father, has placed all things under ??? Some theologians, assume that all things will be placed under the feet of the Saints.

Strangely, Hebrews 2:9; provides the answer.

“Place all things under Who’s feet?”

EL elyon the Father, has placed all things under “His” feet!

(His = Yehwah Elohe = Messiah Yeshua)

The resurrected Saints, will not be equal to Messiah. The Saints will become like the Angels, as members of the Eloheyem Family. The Saints are fellow servants, with the Angels, assisting Messiah the King in the Kingdom of the Father.
